Links to the public transport network lie near the hotel.The tastefully decorated rooms have their own bathroom with a bath and hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio, free Internet access, minibar (for a fee), balcony and a hire safe. Our room was good with a lovely view over the park.
The continental breakfast was very good as there was always baked beans and hot sausage available besides boiled eggs, cereals, jams, breads, meat and cheese, fresh fruit and yogurt etc. Plus fruit juice and a selection of teas and coffees.
The evening meal was quite slow service and very few people chose half board so we were often the only ones there! (we were there off peak season) The 3 course dinner always had 2 choices for each course.
The location was excellent as it only took 10 minutes to walk to the port and although the hotel is in the centre of town it was very quiet and peaceful.
We could not access Wifi in our room but it was available in the reception area and in the rooms closer to reception than ours.
“ Top Tip: We hired a car to access the whole of the island on a daily basis. The walking and views are excellent and well signposted. Maps are available from the tourist information office on the next street to the hotel.

Very comfortable, clean, and excellent breakfast. Good value.
Unfortunately it is adjacent to a major building project (which we were aware of from the booking site) but quite at night.
