Hyatt Regency La Manga Hotel

“ First review I have ever bothered to post.

Hotel was fantastic. It is we believe a true 5 star.

Rooms were great - clean, modern and bed was fanatastic to sleep in. Best hotel bed I have slept in - really comfortable and sumptious.
Staff were attentive but not all over you.
Food in restaurant - dinner and Breakfast were excellent - again would struggle to fault them.

Wife actually said to me she could not fault the hotel in anyway.
The only thing I could find to comment on was the patio wall outside could do with some new paint but I am sure that is on a maintenance program somewhere as everything else was spotless.

Hotel is in a great spot in the heart of La Manga sitting on the golf course but also close to tennis centre as well. Shame Spa was not connected to the Hotel but rather is 5 mins away in car.

We had a fantastic time even if the weather could have been better - but I cant blame hotel for that now can i:).

“ Swimming pool freezing, for a hotel of this standard it really must be heated.
Bedrooms and hallways looking tired. Staff excellent, breakfast choice outstanding.
Good atmosphere, stunning resort, would definitely recommend and return again.
However wifi costs not included in hotel room rate although free wifi is widely available in bars and cafes around resort.

“ Top Tip: Luigi's Italian is excellent however booking is necessary.
Le barra tapas bar is excellent value with a very friendly atmosphere.

“ Unfortunately was disappointed with this hotel. It was an extremely cold week and the bedroom was not heated. The whole of the hotel was cold and people were sat about in coats.

The breakfast was limited and so were the amount of tables at breakfast. We always had to wait to be seated. The staff were run off their feet and still they were very accommodating.

The check in was poor was waiting for attention and for a five star hotel was not asked if we need assistance with our luggage, I had to ask. Was given the room key cards and that was about it. There was no information given about the hotel and where and what time meals began.

There were no newspapers or a pleasant warm lounge to sit in. Newspapers were available to buy in the shop.

The domestic staff were excellent as were the rest of the female waitresses.

Very disappointing, probably due to the fact it was winter and was operating on a skeleton staff.

“ Top Tip: No - Many restaurants and shops closed.

“ I thought the hotel was very nice the staff were very polite and helpfull, the rooms were clean and tidy and had good veiw of the pool . the breakfast was a really good standard and the kitchen staff were really freindly.
