Hotel was very clean, modern with good sized rooms and excellent bathroom. Across the road was a superb beach - clean white sand stretching for miles. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis - no complaints. Lots of inexpensive places to eat and drink though needed to travel a few kilometers for good restaurants.
If you want a quiet, peaceful rest this is fine.

Very nice smart hotel, within just a few mins walking distance to beach and bars (although very quiet and most closed in Jan when we stayed). Nice sized bedrooms and en-suite, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, electronic safe, toiletries, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities etc. Breakfast buffet was nice with selection of hot and cold items and unlimited coffee/tea/juice etc. Hotel Spa was lovely, but our stay was short so we never got to use this time round (sadly). Parking is available in hotel garage but costs 12euro per day so we parked outside hotel on main road although spaces are limited.
Would return to this hotel because the staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
“ Top Tip: Lovely Spanish restaurant near the La Manga Camping site on the beach - great value menu del dia, choice of 3 courses, with wine, for around 10euro. They also do a 3 course Sunday dinner, again with wine, for around 12euro. Superb!

“ The Mangalan Hotel is fantastically appointed. The rooms are very clean, spacious and contemporary, giving a very modern feel to the hotel and compared to other hotels on the La Manga strip it beats them hands down! The Spa Experience just HAS to be done - a wonderfully relaxing 2 hours+ in a pristine spa setting. The pools are great also and bar snacks and drinks are plentiful. The only negative is that folks from the UK expecting a buzzing "UK" nightlife will be let down - La Manga is predominantly a spanish residencial region, so you may have to travel further afield.
“ Top Tip: Well worth a drive to La Manga Club and have a meal in the indian restaurent at the top of the mountain....the views and food are stunning. Also drive to Cabo De Palos and have a meal and drinks in the small marina - the El Navigante restaurent is phenomenal.

“ Fantastic Hotel would stay again anytime.Great view from rear rooms and very clean good facilities includes kettle but no English TV stations.The spa was available each day free of charge on a special offer normally £20 for 2hrs.Food was good but sometimes a little cold. A full bottle of wine and water came included in price of half board never know this before.Staff all very polite and friendly and all spoke some English. Pleasant beach walks just outside but not many shops. Car hire recommended. Once you come off the motorway you have to get through 38 !sets of traffic lights in just 2 miles all on timers no sensors. Just go for it.
