“ The hotel is beautiful with plenty of greenery and was well maintained. The staff were very friendly also and there was day and evening entertainment laid on. The courtesy bus was great to get us quickly to the beach as it was a good 25 minute walk otherwise. We also used the courtesy bus to take us to Aricrefe for a few hours.
There are bars and restaurants about 15 minutes walk away for a change of scenery.

“ I added my comments to the Hotel prior to leaving, but will give you my opinion with pleasure. Levels of service were extremely high, staff were brilliant. We found the menu for breakfast very good, Lunch somewhat limited and Dinner good, but could be improved for western tastes. The menu for Dinner gave a fair selection/choice but could have been improved. Facilities were excellent, rooms very well kept and extremely clean. Being away from the beach was not a problem, as an excellent courtesy bus was provided, but the pool area at the hotel was very good and well maintained. Evening entertainment could be improved. We will certainly be going again though.

“ Top Tip: Our trip on this occasion was all inclusive and for only a week, on our next visit we intend to go half board or B&B at the same venue. So at this moment in time cannot really add anything of any benefit as regards a top tip.

“ You couldn't fault the staff at this hotel - extremely friendly, attentive and committed to make your stay enjoyable. Some of the best staff I've ever encountered. The public areas are beautifully maintained, comfortable and attractive. I mentioned it was our anniversary and had sparkling wine and fruit delivered to our room within an hour as a gift from the hotel - a lovely touch.

The hotel is the furthest out from town but if you don't mind a 15 min steady walk, with a slight incline coming back, it's not a bad journey. We met someone who went back to the hotel on a regular basis and they stated that unless it's peak season, the hotel is always quiet and peaceful. No fighting for sunbeds or space in the pool. We saw no more than 10 people round the pool each day. Great if you just want to sunbathe and chill.

The food was standard continental fare. Nice quality but a bit samey. Plenty of nice restaurants in the town though. I would suggest you go all inclusive if you intend to laze by the pool each day and not venture far as there's no coffee shop etc on site. The hotel appears to be geared around the all inclusive market.

If I had to find fault, I would say the bedroom we stayed in was due for a facelift - although roomy with extremely comfortable beds, the green carpets, apricot walls, blue and yellow curtains, grey floral bedcovers and pink tinged furniture didn't give the impression of being 4 star decor. Saying that, it was clean and at the extremely low price we paid for three nights, you couldn't complain - I certainly didn't feel I'd been overcharged!

I would definately go back to this hotel in the future and only marked it down to an 8.4/10 because the room decor could do with attention.

“ Top Tip: Peskara on the sea front do lovely food, beautifully presented and although around the same price as most of the bars and restaurants, just have the edge to make them feel better value - great service too. Also, if you are bored with continental cuisine and fancy some nice plain english fare, try the Cutty Sark at the far end of the beach. Very good value and well cooked.
