Blue Sea Costa Teguise Gardens

“ Stayed in this hotel in Jan 2011...hotel was basic and clean, not really near to lots of resturants, bars and beach...small plastic beers glasses are a joke and bar closes at 11pm...stayed all inclusive and food was good...lots to choose from...wouldn't stay at this hotel again because of its location and wouldn't stay in Costa Tequise again...it's very breezy and not much to do at night.

“ We Have just returned From the Blue Seas Cota Teguise Gardens after a week This is a very Truthfull & open review Lets Start with the Negatives it is a little bit far out some reviews say it is 800m to the beach not so there are three beaches in the area but the closest one is a good 30 min walk [which is very nice walk ] or just 3 euro in a Taxi that is the only negative about this Hotel that i could find
The Staff are all fantastic helpfull polite the one bedroom apartment we had was basic but spacious clean and a large pattio area overlooking the gardens the food is good a little repetative but this is all inclucive but you wont go hungry there is always a good choice and it is hot [the Chef knows how to cook fish exantley] even 15 mins before end of service things was being replenished
the Public areas are kept clean and well maintaned with a very nice PoolBar through the day the one downside to this hotel is there is only 2 small toilets for the bar and pool area this may be a problem when it is busy the pool area is well looked after with a childrens area the entertanment is good withKids Mini Disco & Bingo each Night and a live show all in all this was a Fantastic Hotel for what we paid [£156 for a week AL thank you Travel Republic}little dated but CLEAN i would not hesitate to go again it does what it says on the tin it is a 3 star Hotel and some reviews i read before going i was a liitle nervous but i think people pay for 3 star and want 5 star and just complain for the sake of it The Bars on the front are Great and cheap beer is 2 euros a pint I do hope this review has being helpfull

“ Top Tip: Friday Night is is Market Night in the Sqaure in Costa Teguise take a Taxi at 3 euros some great places to eat out and some really great bars in the sqaure
a little closer is some great bars like the Crown with Happy Hour in the afternoon with beer for 1 euro the other Bar next Door for good entertainment is the Monkey Bar there is a Market on Sunday in Tegusie the Bus leaves the hotel at 10 am well worth seeing the other trip we did was the half day southern tour to the Natinol Park the best 20 euros i have spent what a Fantistic Trip i would recomend this very Highly
Look for Baily Irish Bar the staff are Fantastic

“ This hotel is nice, clean, food in the restaurant is very good. However it is outside of the resort. A good walk to any shops, restaurants or bars. The bus stop is also a good distance no buses pass the hotel. All inclusive drinks and bar snacks were poor so we were glad we had booked half board.

“ Top Tip: If you are looking to spending your holiday round a pool this hotel will be fine. However if you are looking to spend time at the beach or in the resort or want to travel around the Island this is not the place to be. Avoid the all inclusive and go for the half board is my advice.

“ The rooms were very poor quality, long overdue refurbishment. the rooms were not clean, fittings and fixtures lose and not working.

The safe was not fixed to the wall. a 30 euro payment for the key is required and upon returning the safe key you get back 10 Euro. The safe was fixed to the wall after our second request whilst we were out for the day however the person who fixed the safe to the wall left the window to our room open and the curtains drawn open (we were on the ground floor) upon returning to our room i thought we had been burgled! fortunatly we hadnt it was just a clumsy maintaince person.

There was no iron or hair dryer .

NO air conditioning, just a celing fan in the bedroom. (not a problem for us as we were staying over christmas and the weather was not too hot, but in the summer this would have been a problem im sure!)

there was very limited cutlery and china. and much of this was not cleaned properly.

the bathroom was in very poor order, not clean dust grime and stuff on the wall tiles i did not investigate too much yuck! there was black mould around the btm of the bath tiles.

The food in the main resturant was OK but even though we booked half board we ate out on several occasions to improve quality and viriety. the food at the pool bar is not worth mentioning!!!

i will not stay here again.

“ Top Tip: TOP TIP Hire a car, we travelled most of the island and used up one tank of fuel which only cost us 40 euros.
