“ Excellent service and facilities... as always.

“ The hotel was in a lovely location, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of bars, shops, entertainment etc, though the promenade was very uneven to walk on and should not be attempted in high heels! Our room was spectacular, we were lucky enough to have one with a balcony which over looked the enormous pool and the sea, it was also very private, and peaceful. The evening entertainment was ok in the hotel, but would not appeal to everyone, it was a bit tame. The food was good and varied, though the veg was rather over-cooked and if you asked for a medium rare steak such as tuna, it was always well done. The drinks in the hotel were over priced, so I would advise people to buy them outside or to use the supermarket opposite, which was excellent. There were plenty of bars locally, particularly English ones, the patrons of which were very friendly and welcoming. We had good service everywhere we went, it was a lovely relaxed vibe and really quiet, particuarly round the hotel pool, as there was no piped or loud music - bliss! Unfortunately the pool was absolutely freezing apart from the kiddies shallow bit, but it was stunning to look at and never felt crowed, we could always find an empty sunbed at any time of the day, though it may be that we travelled slightly off season. We hired bikes for 10Euros each, for a whole day and cyled easily to Arrecife, there is little traffic on the roads. The bikes were in excellent condition, and we were provided with locks and a puncture repair kit by the very helpful salesman.
Overall we had a fabulous holiday, thanks to the friendly and professional service from Travel Republic, our airport parking, flights, hotel and transfers, went without a hitch and made for a totally stress free break.

“ This hotel is one of the original hotels in Lanzarote. It's not the nicest part of the island (that would be Puerto Calero) but the hotel itself is lovely. Beautifully styled and maintained. The breakfast buffet is good and plentiful as is the evening buffet. The staff are not particularly friendly (with one or two exceptions) and I find the habit of the reception staff of going off to do something else or answer the phone when they're only half-way through dealing with you, very frustrating, but this is quite common wherever I've been in Lanzarote. Customer service is not something they've mastered sadly, anywhere on the island, again with one or two exceptions.
I probably wouldn't stay here again mainly because of the area, but the hotel itself is beautiful.
