“ Basic, but very clean.Nice pool area. Well placed.Near to Sea Front & Flamingo Beach.Staff v accommodating & helpful.We have stayed at several resorts in Playa Blanca during the last 20 yrs.This was our first time at Atlantic Gardens. O.K. it is not luxurious, but represents absolutely excellent value for money.We are planning to return again early next year.No bar at night ,which might put younger people off-But,hey! you are not too far from anywhere, so it doesn't really matter!!

“ Top Tip: El Galleon -For seafood. Tipico Canario down at the front near main beach.-Great Steaks.Juan;s 'Bar Avenido. Cheapest drinks in Playa Blanca.Local Brandy & coffee.-great nightcap for under 3 Euros. Cerveza 2 euro.If you fancy a tapas during the day or a luchtime special 3 course for under a fiver.Little caff near main Hyperdino (Ca Pico) is great-.just ignore the miserable owner/water!!

“ Bungalow's were small and basic in need of refurbishment, ours seemed to hold the heat especially at night with no breeze bedroom temperature in mid 20's most of the time making sleeping difficult as no A/C and only a small fan available to rent at 16 euro's per week. Stayed w/c 8th October and temperatures reached 35deg during the day, so would imagine this could be considerably higher in peak season? Pool side bar and snack bar closed at 17:00 with no other option for food or drink on or near site. Prommanade was fine to walk along during the day but not lit at night with multiple trip hazzards, 30min walk in either direction to find any bars or restaurants a car is definately needed if staying here.
On the plus side staff were very helpful especially the reception staff, rooms were clean as was the whole site in general with nice pools and sun terrace, ample parking as well. If you just want to sun-bathe round the pool all day and eat and drink on your patio at night and can stand the heat at night then this is the place for you, there is an on site supermarket to get your daily necessities from and maybe the restaurant opens at night during the peak season?

“ Top Tip: We would recommend restaurant Playa Mar in Puerto del Carmen which served an inceadible wood cutter steak for 9.5 euro and the chicken fajita's for a mere 5.75 euro was more than i could eat.
The Cave at Janeos del Agua is well worth a visit and Rancho Texas was incedible value at 17 euro including bird show, parrot show, seal show and Cowboy show with an excellent selection of well kept animals.

“ this must be the 10th time I've been to Atlantic Gardens - I go one my own, feel safe and eveyone is realy helpful and polite.. over the years I;ve seen a change of management a few times - but recently theres been an improvement - cleanliness around the pool and public areas, rooms have had a re vamp - yes its basic but thats what you pay for... lovely gardens this time round work being done on them.. 10 min walk from a beach, resturants and a couple of small supermarkets.. walk along the huge prom to the town will take you about 20 to 30 mins (depending on how fast you walk!) walk the opp way to the light house far a fab early evening stroll... all in all somewhere I would recommend to stay for a quiet fab holiday.... thank you to all the staff too they are fantastic - see you next year!
