“ This is about the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel and it is always of a high standard. The staff are friendly, everywhere is clean and looked after and the food is very good. It is in a quiet location although only a short walk from the Rubicon marina and Playa Blanca. Not for young people who are looking for night life. The beaches at Papagayo are superb and worth the trip, although transport is required as it is a long walk in the heat.
“
Top Tip:
Papagayo beach is a must visit.
Love the sandawich shop at Caleta Famara, its the small insignificant one, but the sandwhiches are great.

“ We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were excellent with plenty of space, very clean, great attention to detail. The food was well presented, plentiful and varied with enough choice to satisfy most tastes. They were dark and very quiet at night. All entertainment and music finishes at 11pm which avoided any sleepless nights and we slept like logs every night! We took a couple of trips to North & South of the Island as hadn't been to Lanzarote before. Both trips were very good...Timanfaya is spectacular and Cesar Manrique's house is well worth a visit. This is a lovely hotel to spend a relaxing holiday. Service, food, facilities are all excellent.

“ This is a large international resort hotel which seems to cater predominantly for guests on all-inclusive packages (the self-catering apartments are located across the road). Everything in the hotel was spot-on for us, well worth the four-star rating. Both the bedroom and its bathroom were of a good size and spotlessly clean. We were in a seaview room with balcony, and thought that the view was indeed worth the extra pennies. Public areas of the hotel are spacious, as is the pool complex. Notably, the staff are excellent - plenty of them, all fluent in English and nothing was too much bother. We were on B&B only, so didn't sample the lunch/dinner buffet. However, it looked good! There are not much in the way of local facilities in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but it's less than a fifteen minute walk along the attractive (and baby-buggy friendly) clifftop promenade to Rubicon Marina where there are a number of classy bars, restaurants and boutique shops. Another fifteen minutes along the prom is Playa Blanca (the main resort) and its sandy beach. It is a predictable Spanish beach resort packed with restaurants, bars, perfume & other shops galore. This is where the real action is! The hotel run a free shuttle-bus service to and from Playa Blanca five times a day (otherwise, 4 euro in a taxi).
“ Top Tip: "Vino Blanco" is a very classy wine & tapas bar at Rubicon Marina.
