Nice properties, well maintained regularly cleaned five times per week.
Nice food but can get a little repetative, entertainment a little to be desired, 20 minute steady walk to beach although the free shuttle is a good alternative, virtually every hour. We walked it more times than bussing it for the excercise & we are both 59!.
We requested a pool view which was provided to perfection.
All in all good value for the money.
“
Top Tip:
Ask for a room near to the pool.
Hotel complex a little isolated but fine.

I enjoyed my stay here.
There are some good things - a few great things and just a couple of downsides to it all.
I will start with the bad because if you are like me you are looking at why you should not stay here first.. then looking for the positives?
There is no free wi-fi - that is pretty much essential these days. not only is it not free, its pretty expensive in my opinion at 20E for 7 days.
you have to pay for pool towells at a euro a day - again, its pretty standard that this is included. - room towells are very very small ! - barely cover your behind unless your anorexic!
The complex is a fair old way from the beach and the free bus to the beach/town takes you a long walk from the action - despite driving right through the town !
the good stuff:
I thought the rooms were very good - lots of room - ours came with a large lounge with small kitchen units and 2 balconies - the front one is huge and gets the sun all day. The rooms are very clean and tidy and the complex is kept very clean and the gardens are well tended. asthetically its a very smart place.
The food was more than adequate - in fact for my palate it was very good - there was lots of options including a roast most meals. lots of salads and deserts and lots of other options to keep you going all day - I never had a poor meal though I did hear others moaning.
Please please remember - this is not a british transport cafe and the food will not be what you get in burger king or little chef - its good wholesome spanish inspired international style food - its good quality and plentiful, its cooked with a spanish twist. yes its slightly different to English food - but thats why your not in Clacton, Blackpool or Skegness - embrace the difference and enjoy something new - its delicious food if you give it a try and dont turn your noses up because its slightly different to your normal fayre !
The pools were plentiful and sunbeds were a plenty while we were there - no one was hogging the beds early and there was lots of space.
The all inclusive drinks are good value - help yourself to soft drinks and beer during the day but served in the evenings after 5pm - its all pretty standard all inclusive stuff.
not sure what else to say about the place really - its pretty standard 3* stuff - often they dont warrant one star do they but this place is top end 3* but I would say deffo not 4* - its cheap - but it does punch slightly above its weight in terms of value for money - if you want 5* then book somewhere else and pay for it - this is exactly what you would expect.
“
Top Tip:
the Montana Roja facing the hotel is well worth a walk up and round the rim - takes 1 hour 30 mins from hotel door and back again and although its a tough walk up for 25 mins - its well worth it - lovely views.
Best places to visit are El Golfo - the village is lovely - and Los Hervideros.
the market is not worth the walk to it - tiny!
