“ A very quiet, attractive and spacious accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Positioned on the level and very close to some new shopping areas, the modern marina, a choice of fine restaurants, snack bars etc. A twenty minute stroll along part of a three mile long attractive mostly level promenade will bring you to the main part of the resort past a choice of three sandy child friendly beaches. A wide choice of restaurants and shops in the town are available plus the bonus of a small ferry port in the main harbour.
“ Top Tip: In the marina visit Lani's Tex Mex for great family night and Berugga snack bar across the road, in town L'Artiste authentic lively italian restaurant

“ We had a really spacious two storey apartment with a large kitchen area. The pool area is lovely with views over the harbour. 10/10 for Theo from the animation team who kept the kids busy with water polo, water volleyball, tennis, football and more, he was great! The idea of the meal vouchers worked well, giving us the chance to try a selection of the restaurants on the harbour. Great, quiet location near various shops and supermarkets, and a enjoyable stroll to the beach and the main busier area of Playa Blanca. Hire a car of possible and visit the volcano, camels, Cesar Manrique's house, and the beautiful Papagayo beach.

Fantastic hotel, right beside lovely marina and walkway to centre of Playa Blanca.
On arrival, we didn't get a great room, but we were able to change this with no problem.
It is in a lovely, quiet area with views from the apartments across the sea or resort. There is a supermarket just across the road for all your basic self catering things (milk, sugar etc) and a good shopping centre opposite the complex.
The apartments are very spacious, with 2 large bedrooms and terrace which gets the sun all day.
Alll in all I would go back again.

Top Tip:
I would recommend the Volcan De Timanfaya Restaurant Grill as a place to eat. On the first couple of nights, we ate at a couple of restaurants in the marina, but found that they were a little bit more expensive. On walking along towards Playa Blanca, we stumbled across the Volcan De Timanfaya and went back there each night. The food is really good and good value for money (I'd recommend the filet of chicken with green pepper sauce - yum!). The waiters are really friendly and remember you - even get the whole place to sing "Happy Birthday" if it is your birthday.
There is a taxi rank just outside, but watch the cost. We made the error of going into Puerto Del Carmen in one and it cost around 32 euros, although it was only about 45 minutes. We got the bus back, just outside the Biosfera shopping centre. Don't believe the timetables and look out for No 61. Cost back is 2.50 euro each.

Great location, by the new marina (the posh end of town)
Spacious and well kept apartments
Easy going atmosphere
Friendly and helpful Staff
Great pool areas, also play area, gym, sauna, laundry room available
Buffet breakfast in hotel was good
Half board was excellent because instead of being in the hotel it was shared between 5 local restaurants so you could dine out and have various menus to choose from.
Only bad point was no UK television (except news)
As a family of four we would thoroughly recommend this hotel
“ Top Tip: For half board meals we found Lanis' restaurant a really good choice as it has a big menu and is very child friendly, and don't miss out on the Japanese restaurant based in the Volcan hotel for something a bit different.
