Bitacora Club Apartments

“ Apts were lovely nothing else needs to be said.

“ Had a room in the corner next to the road which was fine as on a quiet road.

The problem was with the water tank outside the bedroom window that had a faulty ball cock and was constantly filling which during the day is fine but at night sounds like a waterfall coming through the bedroom wall.

Reported this twice and it wasnt fixed the whole time we were there. Just as well were only there 3 days. The complex itself is basic but clean, it is mainly Brits with families.

Wouldnt stay again.

“ We have stayed at the Bitacora many times previously and have always enojoyed ourselves. Since our last stay, the complex has been renovated which is good. Your photograph needs to be updated to reflect this. The complex is clean however, it is situated up a steep hill which we found tiring and hard to push a twin buggy up after going to the beach and again at night after going out to the restaurants. This makes it I think, unsuitable for families with young children and also for the elderly who may find the climb a challenge.
We asked for a ground floor room with the sun shining onto the balcony which we got. This made the holiday more enjoyable.
On the whole, the Bitacora is an ideal base for couples, both young and old, and families without small children who find walking uphill not a problem.

“ Ticked all the boxes that far more expensive hotels/apartments do. Well managed, friendly, clean and efficient. The walk from seafront can be a little daunting, firstly "Cardiac Hill" followed by the final uphill jaunt to the Bitacora. I actually thought it was a good bit of exercise but you do need a moderate level of fitness!
