“ Basic, clean and located within walking distance of the old and new towns and beach. Some people will find the steep hill that leads from the hotel to the beach difficult to negotiate.

“ Top Tip: Turn right at the bottom of the hill and head for the older part of town. There are some lovely restaurants including La Cueva del Pulpo that serves good value, tasty tapas.

“ Just came back from the Bitacora. Travelled on my own with my 9 year old daughter, the staff were very friendly and helpfull and made us feel very welcome.The appartments were very clean and adequate. Pool was cold but refreshing and very clean. grounds are well kept. amazing value for money. Cant wait to go back.

“ Top Tip: 10 minute walk down the hill to the main strip and 10 minute walk the other way to the harbour and the old town.

“ Just returned from a week at the bitacora apts. most of lanzarote apts are up an hill and these apts were no exception but not too steep and there are a couple of bars around to stop on the way up or down. The rendavouz bar is a lovely little bar next to the small spar shop. The apts were spotlessly clean though in some need of updating. We were there for a week an had our towels changed 3 times. All the staff were great and really friendly and the small bar served nice food and happy hour everyday. The only down side was that the pool was freezing even the kiddie pool.
Would stay here again thanks for a great holiday.

“ room was big & spacious but basic.had every thing you needed for self catering purposes.pool bar was good & the snacks were really good.a 10 min walk to the main strip but you can get a taxi back for 2-3 euros as it it is situated on top hill,really good value for money & weould def return
