“ This hotel is brilliant- well worth the money-will definately return. The food was superb and the choice each day was unbelievable. The restaurant, pool area and rooms were all spotless- a credit to the Spring hotel chain.

“ Hi, I booked our holiday approx a year ago and got a good rate and stayed in a junior suite and my two girls aged 19 and 22 stayed in a standard room. On arrival the girls found their room and were delighted, we were put in a room with a small balcony and slightly older decor.

“ We were there with our daughter and her 3 small children aged 5, 3 and 8 months. We found the food was not suitable for that age group at dinner as there was no kiddies menu except for pasta, chips, ice cream etc. The 5 and 3 year olds ended up eating chips, ham or cheese sandwiches which the parents had made from the breakfast menu. There were no mash potatoes or suitable gravy, fish fingers (except for 1 night), etc. The food was suitable for adults and teenagers but not small children. Otherwise we found the hotel very good

“ Our probably 20th return to this hotel - the best 'all inclusive' food we have ever had - this stay it had improved even more. The staff are faultless, service first class.
“ Top Tip: If you fancy a meal/drinks out of the hotel take a 5 euro taxi a few minutes away to Cafe La Ola in Puerto del Carmen - Moroccan styple decor, right on the seas edge and great food & very attentive friendly staff with a sea view to die for. make sure you go right down to the restaurant/bar at the bottom of the slope, the Cafe Ola half way down does not have the same ambience..

We chose this hotel based on the reviews and were not disappointed.
This was our Honeymoon and we informed the hotel before our arrival.
They welcomed us with sparkling wine in our room and special treats during our stay which included a candle lit dinner. As requested, our room was well situated on the top floor in a quiet part of the hotel overlooking the pool and with a sea view.
The room was cleaned daily and to a good standard. The food was excellent with a different theme each night and we were almost spoilt for choice.
The staff was most helpful and enthusiastic in their desire to make our stay enjoyable. The programme of events for each day was varied and included archery, aqua aerobics, tennis lessons and free Pilates sessions every day.
The hotel is well appointed close to the beach and only an 8 euro taxi drive from the airport.
Now the bad news.....
This is a great hotel spoilt by the guests. We could only award this hotel 8 out of 10 as they allow guests with dogs - yuk!! (didn't see that mentioned in the blurb ). We were also disappointed that they don't enforce their own rules about dress code for dinner and reserving sun beds. We observed certain Europeans (you know who I mean) who were up at the crack of dawn laying out their towels on not one, but two sun beds. In some cases a towel would be placed on a sun bed and left all day until 4pm when they returned to soak up the late afternoon sun. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did nothing about it when there aren't enough sun beds for all guests.
However, overall I would highly recommend this hotel and we intend to return in the future.

Top Tip:
The walk to Puerto Del Carmen takes about 30 minutes and is a pleasant experience either along the beach or along the promenade.
The Vision hop on /hop off bus trip is a disappointment as most of the sights are on the North route so you will end up sitting on a bus for 4 - 5 hours with just enough time to see 2 attractions.
A return taxi trip to the Manrique Foundation costs just 24 euros. The driver will wait for you for an hour and the rank is just outside the hotel.

“ Still great value on Food and Drink. Rooms very clean, asked for 3 proper size beds and got 3. Very well maintained, rooms, gardens, public areas. Entertainment improved 100% since last visit, especially at night. Would recommend.
“ Top Tip: Ensure you ask for the drink you want, ie Smirnoff, or you could get the cheap version.
