“ The apartments were nice with the space inside well utilised.

Only problem was the building works outside and them starting at 8.00 am or sooner! But I guess that only affects the area until the new apartment blocks have been built.

“ Top Tip: Good access to both old town/harbour and the 'strip'.

“ very hilly and could be difficult for people with walking difficultes

“ An adequate hotel. We got exactly what we paid for. In general very happy with our stay, although being told on arrival that there was a plumbing problem with our room and that they were going to move us to another hotel was unacceptable. i'm glad to say that we stood our ground and said that we would not like to be moved to another hotel on the grounds that the plumbing problem could be fixed easily and that as the hotel was not full, we could easily be moved to another room in the complex. We got our wish.

“ Top Tip: A great resort to stay in, with lots to do (eating, drinking, beach activities, etc, and with lots of boutiques and shops). My top tip would be to visit the EL ANCLA restaurant in Puerto Del Carmen Old Town - first class service and delicious food. The best steak I had on my holiday - and very reasonably priced too. Another great place to go for quality food and entertainment is the American Indian Cafe - great food - the best burgers and texmex food, topped off with an outstanding rock band called "The Question" who played all sorts of tunes from 60's rock, 70s rock and punk to modern day chart toppers! Also if you don't want to pay for the internet in your accommodation - take your ipod touch and walk to McDonalds at the Biosfera Plaza (where there are a number of decent shops including ZARA and Claire's Accessories), to take advantage of the McDonalds WiFi Gratis (Free)
