Property Summary
The Hotel San Antonio has been a very popular holiday choice with the UK and Irish guests for many years. This friendly hotel is extremely well situated right on the beach and just at the end of the main promenade through Puerto del Carmen. The hotel has everything within easy reach, yet is not right in the centre of resort. The hotel is very attractively and comfortably furnished and all rooms have full bathrooms. There is a lovely swimming pool, right by the sea, surrounded by sun terraces and sunbeds, where guests can enjoy a cooling drink from the pool bar while relaxing in the sun. Meals are breakfast and dinner and are buffet style, with a wide selection to choose from. On the beach guests will find all kinds of water sports, such as windsurfing, diving and sailing. In both the resort of Puerto del Carmen and the Old Town guests will find lively day and night life, with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops.

“ Lovely clean hotel and good location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet restaurant is very clean with good choice of food. There was always something that we enjoyed. Pity it wasnt all inclusive instead of full board, as still had to purchase any drinks in the restaurant with the meals or would be better if it included soft drinks or water with the meals. Would definately stay there again

I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The staff were very good and the food was excellent . We stayed for 10 days and normally towards the end of a holiday you start to get fed up with the food but not here. There was always a good variety of food and always hot and fresh. There was loads of sun beds and shade round the pool and access straight onto the beach. The bedrooms were adequate and what can be expected of a 4 star hotel in Spain.The location was very good with only a short walk to local bars and restaurants. We do not usually go to the entertainment in hotels at night but because of what we saw on the first night we did stay in on 5 or 6 nights and it was far better than any I have seen in the past.
Finally I would say that anyone who doesn't think that this hotel is not good value for money will be very difficult to please and will have a problem wherever they stay.

This hotel is well situated in the quieter part of the resort and is convenient to the airport - 12 Euros in a taxi. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is good entertainment. The food is good with plenty of choices. The fridge in the hotel room is very poor and does not make ice. It is more of a cooler for a mini-bar. It costs about 12 Euros for a week.
Recommended for older people b ut also quite suitable for families and couples who are not looking to party into the night.
“ Top Tip: Great walks along the prominade, in both directions. Bus stop outside the hotel which is most convenient.
