Description:
This complex of whitewashed bungalows is located in first line of the beach of Matagorda and it's surrounded by tropical gardens. All bunglows have 1 or 2 twin bedrooms, sitting room with sofa-bed, well equipped kitchen, full bathroom and a private terrace with a small garden. The complex amenities include 7 swimming pools, a buffet restaurant, 2 poolside snack-bars, 24 hours reception and free internet WiFi throughout the complex, among others. There is a shopping area and supermarket 50 meters away and the city center of Puerto del Carmen, the main tourist and leisure center of the island, is just 2 miles away (30-45 minutes walking along the sea promenade). There are two 18-holes golf courses, 6 km. and 15 km. away (designed by John Harris).

We have been before and once again had a very enjoyable time.
Bungalow was on a slope in block 8 giving us a wonderful sea view.
Only downside - bungalow cleaning could have been better.

“ The location of this hotel was very good. Close to the sea and few bars, restaurants, supermarkets, at the Matagorda end. Very quiet, peaceful. The only downside was we paid for all inclusive and could not get a drink after 10pm. There was no entertainment at all. But our main concern was the food. It was cold all the time. Breakfast was bacon and egg, hard boiled, scrambled, omelette but not all available. Only one type of egg per day. No beans, tomatoes or anything like that. Lunch was cold meat, cold chips, and salad. Dinner was much the same with the exception of cold soup. Everything was catered for the Germans and Spanish. Even the Nescafe ran out and was replaced by a cheap Brazilian blend of decaffinated coffee. We were told that Nescafe was too expensive.!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just the food that we had problems with. And only one English Channel on TV, Sky News.

Good value for money, we have been many times so knew what to expect. The apartments are clean & have all your need. If you want to use the safe or tv you have to pay extra which we already knew.
Only down side was our toilet in the bathroom broke & water kept coming out from the bottom of the basin and we were unable to use it, they did fix it same evening & told us not to put any paper down it!! We were there for 2 weeks and this happened twice in the first week. After that we only used it when it was really necessary which did put a downer on the apartment.
Very close to the beach and restaurants so excellent location.
Its about a 45 walk to the center of Puerto del Carman and an hour to the old town.
