  • “ We have just returned from a week at the ferrera beach apartments. It had only been open a couple days into the new season. We loved the area lots to see and do. The apartments them self are very nice and spacious with a small kitchenette, which we did not use.

  • “ Great apartments, very clean, good size rooms, beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. Plenty of bars and restaurants near and Cala do'r is only a 10 minute walk if you want more choice. If you don't have children paying the extra 8 euros is worth it for the adult only pool and day beds. Would reccomend the place to anybody.

Quiet location 100 m from the beach in Cala Ferrera and 10 minutes from the centre of Cala d Or.
The apartment complex Ferrera Beach is situated in a quiet area only 100 m from the beach in Cala Ferrera and 10 minutes from the centre of Cala d Or with bars, shops and restaurants. Facilities within the complex include reception 24h, bar, swimming pool, sun terrace, children's pool, garden and sport/entertainment activities. All apartments are equipped with bathroom/shower, kitchenette, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, safe (extra charge), sofa and balcony/terrace. The superior apartments are also equipped with satellite TV, hair dryer and microwave (air conditioning included in the price). The pictures show refurbished superior apartments. Guests are requested to indicate the estimated arrival time while making the booking.

“ The apartment was small but was clean and adequate.

“ Top Tip: The restaurant attached to the hotel/apt. was more suited to "all inclusive" and was not a good atmosphere for paying clients.

Food was good, but little choice as fairly small complex, but we always found something. Staff and manager very hands on and make you very welcome. Will definitely go back.

“ Superior apartment was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and approachable. Kitchen was poorly equipped which didn't affect us as we ate out but could present problems for people wishing to self-cater. The pool and public areas were attractive and well- maintained. We attended the midweek BBQ which, regarding the poor quality of the food on offer we considered to be greatly overpriced at 24 euros each, although we enjoyed listening to the excellent Spanish guitarist. We would use Ferrera Beach again as it suited our purposes in providing a good base for touring the island, but would not recommend it to anyone seeking lively nightlife or a choice of independent restaurants.

“ These were by far the best appartments we have ever stayed in. When booking we thought they looked very nice from the photographs but in reality they exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the modern superior appartments and they were very nice, immaculately clean and we had access to the adult pool which was well worth the extra money as this was a very quiet and relaxing pool with only ever a max of 10 people (including us) around it due to the extra charge for use of it. We have recommended to friends and family and will definately be going back here. For those with difficulties getting about its probably not the right place for you as there were 80 steps down to the beach but these werent a problem at all for us.

“ Top Tip: Don Leone was a brilliant gem of a restaurant the waiters/waitresses were brilliant and the food was gorgeous. I would have happily ate their all week however we did try a few other places but none as nice as the food at Don Leone. Cala Serena was a very nice quiet little beach a short stroll away if you prefer abit more peace and tranquility.
