Pinomar Hotel

“ I was lucky and did eventually get a sea view room - though these are hard to get- the staff were great - this is a hotel for the locals and it was great to see them playing boules just meters away each day
granted the place has seenn better days and we did have a leak in the bathroom - but a different and sea view room was found
but the staff could not have been more helpful
the breakfasts were great too- but suggest you get down early if you want it hot!!

“ The hotel was pretty basic, although I fully expected this because of the price that I paid for a week's stay. Having said this, it was fine for me as a solo travaller. It was 50m to the beach and centre of the resort but far enough away to be completely quiet at night. The only issue that I had was that there was no fridge or air conditioning and the room was really hot at times. Again, because of the price that I paid, this was an inconvenience that I could live with. All in all my stay was enjoyable.

“ Pinomar Hotel was in a great location - seconds away from the beach & restaurants & in a lovely part of the resort. Unfortunately though Pinomar Hotel is in serious need of renovation & updating. I went on holiday with my Mum there for a week at the end of August. We were very happy with S'Illot & would definitely go back again, however I don't think we'd go back to the hotel again as basic is the only way to describe it. Our first room that we stayed in was as small as a shoebox with no airconditioning & very limited, old facilities which were ready to crumble. We requested another room in the sister hotel across the road, Apartment Familia, these were much better but unfortunately again, the facilities in the rooms were very basic, no shower curtain was on the shower & the shower rail kept coming away from the wall. The airconditioning unit was situated above my bed & leaked on the first day all over the matress & I had to sleep in a wet bed. We complained to the hotel management the following day who transferred us to another room & we then decided to go without air conditioning otherwise it was going to happen again. Such a shame as the temperatures were 30+ at night so we slept with the balcony door open which was quite noisy at times. Breakfast at the Pinomar was basic but ok. All in all the hotel needs a complete renovation. Every guest we spoke to thought the same.

“ WAS A LONE TRAVELLER. ACCOMODATION VERY VERY BASIC, AS BUILDING IS EXTREMELY OLD. NO SWIMMING POOL. HOTEL MORE IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA. LOCALS GATHERED IN THE EVENING TO PLAY CARDS ETC. ENGLISH NOT VERY WELL SPOKEN IN THE HOTEL. WEATHER WAS SO GOOD WAS OUT ALL DAY TO EARLY EVENING. RESORT BEAUTIFUL AND LOTS OF RESTAURANTS AND CAFES. WOULD NOT RETURN WITH FAMILY BUT WOULD CONSIDER AS A LONE TRAVELLER.
