The hotel was built in 1990, renovated in 2001 and consists of a 6-storey building with a total of 102 rooms, of which 14 are singles and 88 are doubles. Various facilities are available to guests including a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk. Additional facilities include a safe, a currency exchange desk, 2 lifts, a car park, a café, a bar, a TV room and an Internet terminal (for an additional fee). The hotel also features a air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs available for small children. Room services are available as well as medical assistance to round off the services on offer.
The hotel's facilities include a spacious 3,000-m² garden.

I usually read reviews with a pinch of salt and have never ever left comments myself but feel I have to this time! I booked the playa blanca as just a short 4 day break for myself as a single traveller. I paid very little and didnt have high expectations but to be honest the playa blanca is the pits!
My room was large and airy but my bathroom was old, tired shower couldnt be hung on the wall to use it - no plugs for the plug holes
Meal times - breakfast was fine
lunch was only from 2 till 3 which is too late and too long and you had to be quick or you got nothing and if you did it was cold!
Evening meal was usually just more of the same from lunch - to be honest it was barely edible but filled a hole. I was there 3 nights and ate out 2 of them which is expensive these days in Spain.
all inclusive drinks finished at 10pm which I was very surprised at and as a single traveller I didnt feel much like venturing out on my own after dark so had to pay high bar prices in the hotel or go to bed.
Pool is nice but beds & chairs are mainly broken and in need of repair and the poolside hardly ever kepy clean - dirty towels layed by the pool whole time I was there.
If you can afford better then I suggest you avoid the playa blanca - leave it for the many german tourists who seem to use it alot!

“ For the price we paid we were very pleased with this hotel . good location. our room was huge and our balcony enourmous.. maybe we were just lucky but we have no complaints and will return. Food ok too.. not a big choice but no problems.. again for what we paid we were satisfied. Pool area not dirty but not too clean in parts.. otherwise ok .
