These family run beachfront apartments, popular with both families and couples alike, are directly opposite the beautiful, white sandy beach of Cala Moreia which has recently been awarded the European blue flag of distinctions for it’s cleanliness and crystal clear waters. The Playa Moreia Apartments are situated in the heart of the picturesque resort of S’Illot and less than 5 minutes walk from Sa Coma town centre and beach.
Accommodation
All units are fully equipped with either kitchenette or kitchen, microwave ovens, toasters, electric kettles, electric hobs and fridge. Each has a private facilities with bath with shower and hairdryer. Safety deposit boxes are available for a small fee. The complex has various lifts and a lovely terrace with sea views. Half the complex looks over the Playa Moreia beach and the other half over the countryside and hills to the north. There is an additional charge for sea view rooms but the outlook is spectacular and is certainly worth the extra money.
Food and Beverage
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the main dining-room. The hotel also has a pool bar and main bar serving a variety of refreshments.
Sports and Leisure
Sporting and leisure activities include a swimming pool with children’s section, large sun terrace with wonderful views of the nearby beach, table tennis, pool and a games room. Water sports can be found at the Playa Moreia beach opposite and further along at Sa Coma.
Useful Information on Distances
The Playa Moreia Aparthotel is situated on the East Coast of Majorca, 64 Km from Palma, 5 Km from Porto Cristo and the Caves of Drach, a few minutes walk from Sa Coma and 3 Km from Cala Millor, one of the Island’s most important tourist areas. S’Ilot has 2 beaches (Cala Moreia – opposite the complex - and Cala Morlanda), a small fishing harbour and it’s own promenade, linking it with Sa Coma. The peninsula of Punta de Son Amer with its ancient look-out tower and pine trees is 2 Kms to the East. There is a regular bus service to various points on the Island just a short distance from the hotel.

“ This hotel tries very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is a bit dated, but spotlessly clean and the location is great. Food is definately 2 star but plenty of it. We had very noisy trampy neighbours who swore at people if they were asked to make less noise at 1am in the morning but that was just our bad luck on this visit. I would return, value for money excellent.
“ Top Tip: Loads of restaurants and bars at very reasonable prices. We were paying £1.50 for decent wine after turning right on the promenade straight in front of the hotel where the fishing boats are, its about 300yds along , you cant go any further (dont go over the bridge) with a free tapas each round!!

On arrival we had a noise problem in our room which we were told was normal for that block. We asked if we could be moved as it would disturb us too much. The staff agreed to move us the following day when another room was available and gave us a complimentary drink at the bar.
The room we were moved too was very nice and more acceptable to us. At all times the staff were friendly & did everything they could to help us. Would recommend the hotel to anyone

“ A very good value for money place to stay. Convenient location near to activities but not so close that you feel the noise? Ideal for kids and older people looking for a quiet break. Only downside was that we had ground floor room next to reception and noise was an issue in the night with people arriving or leaving. If offered this room opt for alternative upstairs to the back of hotel for a bit of peace? Otherwise staff very helpful, polite and cheerful.Reasonable choice for breakfast. Cash machine in front of hotel offers good exchange rates as other reviewer has stated.

Top Tip:
Several restaurants along the front offer good value food and drink though not as cheap for beer as the Welsh Bar or Fawlty Towers.
Bike hire for those interested is quite cheap and no hassle with credit card deposits or the like?

“ went half board, food was very poor quality, room was lovely, hotel only 20 yards from beach, peaceful and pleasant resort.
“ Top Tip: Brilliant italian restaurant, "Mama Mia", 5 mins walk towards cala morlanda. meal for two plus starter and two beers only 20 euros, superb value!!!!
