Delta Hotel

“ The hotel is only about 15 mins from the airport ( 27 E in taxi ). On check in, you get your photo taken and its put on your room card. You use this card for ordering drinks/ food etc if you are AI.
The rooms were quite spacious,beds comfy enough, clean, and didn't hear the neighbours once. Bathroom also lovely and clean, and had clean towels whenever you wanted. Beach towels provided, so you dont need to pack those. They also have soap, shower gel/ shampoo provided. A really good point is they have a mini bar in the room, you dont pay for any of the soft drinks or bottled beer.
Food..... absolutly fine, we had no problems. Lots of choice, something for everyone. Usual breakfast, had everything bar pancakes ! The food at the pool bar was good too. We had lunch there every day.
They had 2 outdoor pools. The best one was the one the near the pool bar ( the bigger of the 2 pools ). Evening entertainment was a bit 'iffy', seemed to play the same songs whichever group was on, but they did there best, and there was something on every night ,Carn't listen to Boney M any more though !!
Only 1 annoying thing is having to sign for everything you order, even though its not costing you anything if your AI.
Reading some reviews about unpleasent staff.... There was only a couple who were abrupt and not very friendly, but I think that was just how they were, coz they were like that with everyone, so I did'nt take it personal and just thought they were in the wrong job.
Overall, we had a great, relaxing time. Thats what we went for, and thats what we got.

“ Top Tip: The Beach club is lovely, take your snorkles with you. There is a path from the club to the sea ( no beach ) where you can go swimming. You have to climb over flat rocks but watch out because they are quite slippy, but its worth it. If you are AI at the hotel, it only cost 6E each to go, you get a free towel, lounger and drink. Foods alittle pricey, so if you catch the hotel bus in the morning (it runs every 30 mins) you can go back to the hotel for lunch, then go back down on the 3pm bus. The bus stops between 1.30 and 3.
On leaving the hotel, if you go ' down ' the road to a round a bout, the turn Rt you come to a small shopping centre, which has a few bars, resturants and shops. If you go ' up ' the hill from the hotel, you come to a really nice supermarket and chemist and cafe.
Didn't find much else there, but we just went for a relax and recharge.
