“ I can't believe how good this hotel was for the money, I have spent hundreds on an overnight stay before and in comparison for the price of this place I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It's not glam and doesn't try to be but It's secure, well staffed, good bar and pool and a single road back from the beach.8.8 Excellent

“ Booked hotel after checking reviews on Trip Advisor which were all good. This was a true reflection of the hotel. We were only going for a short break and looking for a budget hotel. The hotel exceeded our expectations.8.1 Great

We loved our stay and would definitely go back, we went for a short break without the children but I would be happy to take them next year.

Booked hotel after checking reviews on Trip Advisor which were all good. This was a true reflection of the hotel. We were only going for a short break and looking for a budget hotel. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The welcome at reception was genuinely warm and friendly as were all staff during our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas. The bedroom had a new comfortable large double bed, decor was clean and tidy, plenty of storage space and a fridge. There was no air con but you could hire a fan at a reasonable rate. The bathroom was in need of a refurb but everything worked, was clean and there was hot water and towels were changed daily.
We were upgraded to a pool view at no extra cost as they had one available. There were plenty of sunbeds in the pool area. The bar area is open to the public street and had entertainment several nights. Drinks were reasonable price. The location was excellent, just 50yds to sea front and central for shops etc. The food was good. I dont know how the hotel can provide the service they do on the rates charged. The hotel is family owned and run by the family. They are making improvements each year and I am sure that they will be upgrading all the rooms etc in time.
I feel that the 1 star rating is low considering all the hotel has to offer and should not effect people from booking. We would certainly return in the future.
“ Top Tip: The hotel is central for all Cala Bona has to offer, the lovely harbour and level walking in both directions.

“ A basic hotel, which is of course expected with their star rating price. They have a little gym which was great for sweating off some holiday excess dinners. Clean rooms, nothing to complain there. Very little noise insulation, though, which meant that I couldn't get a night's sleep all week because of noisy neighbours and barking dogs etc. Also, extremely loud live music downstairs on street level every night 9 pm - 12 am which meant that I couldn't do any reading I had planned to do to relax in the evenings! I paid to change into a room on the pool side rather than the street side in hopes of that being less noisy (and the girl at the reception confirmed it would be considerably quieter), but it didn't make a noticeable difference. Because of this, after my week's "holiday", I was doubly in need of a holiday - a truly dreadful experience and a disaster of a holiday.
“ Top Tip: If you like being at sea, definitely recommend taking the catamaran to Porto Cristo and visiting the Dragon Caves.
