“ The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly, however, there was no entertainement in the hotel but this may have been due to it being low season. The food was reasonable and there was always something that you could find to eat, we were all inclusive but there were very little snacks and the only snacks I saw were crisps and nuts which you had to ask for at the bar. The hotel was clean and comfortable and as we were only there as a couple it was fine but I don't think it would suit a family with young children or teenagers.
“ Top Tip: The beach was right in front of the hotel terrace, the sea was clear and the sand was cleaned every day, all in all the beacj was lovely.

Inside, this hotel is quite dated, however the friendly/helpful staff and cleanliness throughout more than made up for this.
The pool area is more modern and very clean. There is direct access to the beach from here, which again is well looked after with sun beds for hire and a beach cafe/bar.
We opted for the all inclusive option, there was something for everyone and menus changed from day to day. Extremely good value for money, however snacks were limited (olives and nuts) outwith dedicated meal times and there wasn't any food available when we arrived in the evening.
There are numerous restaurants, bars, shops and a cash machine at the end of the road. The bus stop is also located here and provides easy access into Palma.
We would definitely return to this hotel and would be happy to recommend it to others.

Top Tip:
Very frequent bus service into Palma city centre.
Cala Major is an ideal resort for those wanting a quieter beach-based holiday without the bars and clubs of bigger resorts along the coast. There's not much going on but that's the advantage of this resort over others.
