Apartamentos Hipocampo Playa are located on the beach front and just a 5 minute walk away from the resort centre. The hotel is surrounded by lush gardens filled with flowers and palm trees. The 79 apartments are comfortable and are equipped with modern facilities and amenities. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool which is surrounded by a sun terrace.

“ We stayed at this hotel from 31st March 2012 until 7th April 2012, we found this hotel was very comfortable, had all you could wish for to make your holiday wonderful. It was overlooking the beach and all the rooms have sea and pool view. The Appartment we had was large, and apart from the television (which was flat screen, but you could only get Sky news in English) it had everything you could need. The cleaning was fantastic, nothing too much trouble for the maids. The reception was very helpful, we had booked a transfer for the airport, and they rang and sorted it out for us. Bit of a trek to the bars and restaurants, But you can walk right along the prom which was really nice and the beach is lovely and clean, with soft white sand. This hotel is tops if you want a really nice holiday, not too near the hustle and bustle of Cala Millor. But near enough about 15 mins to main strip.
“ Top Tip: We went to La Sangria nearly every night, great food and drinks at reasonable prices. The staff are lovely an can't do enough for you.

“ The apartments were very clean and close to the beach. However they double booked us and we had to spend first night somewhere else which was slightly annoying as for one night you cant really unpack!!! Apparrantly this is common and they blammed the internet site that we booked through.

Excellent apartments many with beautiful sea views . Spotlessly clean and roomy with great cooking , bathroom and clothes storage facilities . Maid service excellent .
Pool sized about right and a feeling of space around compared to many other hotels. No need for the normal sunbed rush with plenty available.Lovely path to the beach.
No Entertainment or any real bar on a night and service was slow for snacks and drinks through the day due to reduced bar staff. This appeared to be common in many hotels due to spending cuts . Supermarket only 2 mins away though and appeared no problem consuming your own drinks around pool.
Highly recommended for family holiday although resort was unusually quiet due to cuts .
“ Top Tip: SA Terrassa Bar and Restaurant adjacent/ part of Bahia Del Este hotel . not cheap but good food and atmosphere close to main shopping mile .

The apartment was very nice and clean. Large rooms with a bedroom with two twin beds and then a front room with two sofa beds each big enough for an adult to sleep on.
I sleep fine my my partner is a light sleeper and she was kept up by noises in the night as the walls are very thin.
5 minutie walk to main hotel where food was served. Good selection of food, drink prices quite reasonable at hotel and throughout resort.
locationwise the aprtments are right at the end of the resort however, its only about 10 min walk so no real issues.
Good for kids, however, we only went for 5 days, can imagine kids getting bored if longer than that, mainly german area so not many english kids to chat with and entertinment was not very good.
Recommend for short break but maybe go for something with a kids club if staying for a long time. Definately not the resort if you wish to have a clubbing holiday as its pretty quiet, good for families though as even late at night no lad/girl groups on the drink!!
