Me and seven friends stayed here for the weekend (at the start of the season) and we were all quite impressed. Lovely and clean, tidy etc and our room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The rooms themselves (we had 3 apartments) were spacious, with a separate living room and kitchen - and the balcony was nice also. It had air-con, tv, spare pillow, blanket etc and the usual toiletries. No coffee/tea making facilities but you don't really need it. The resort itself was quite impressive, lovely palm tree's everywhere, huge swimming pool, with it's own little bar (although it was closed for a few hours in the afternoon). We went all inclusive, which is really a must as the food was truly outstanding and loads of choice. Plenty of soft drinks and lager and wine on tap. The desserts and bread were plentiful and also ideal for a vegetarian (which one of us was). The main bar was where most people congregate, especially in the evening and there's the usual 'club resort' type entertainment, which is aimed at the kids, so no interest for us. Drinks were easy to get, even when busy and had, again, plenty of 'all inclusive choice' such as lager, house whiskey, brandy, tequila, rum etc etc. Quite a lot and we pretty much tasted everything. Cocktails weren't that great as we couldn't taste the booze, but refreshing all the same. The staff were great, really helpful and kind. We checked out at 12 but our coach back to the airport was at 6 and although we couldn't use the rooms we were allowed to stay and have lunch etc which was very nice of them. There's a nice little port town about 20 mins walk away, which is nice and plenty of bars etc if you wanted to use them - unimpressive shops, apart from one which sold nice summer dresses, necklaces etc. Walking to the left outside the hotel you get to a wood and at the end is a fantastic beach. Turquoise sea, bar on the beach, which is great. Loads of room and wasn't at all busy when we went (April). We all had a great experience here and would easily go back.

Top Tip: Hidden beach, through the woods on the left as you walk out of the hotel.

The self catering apartment was lovely but needed a few more essentials in the kitchen. The staff were extremely helpful and overall our stay was excellent.

A good location if you want to be away from the noisier parts of the resort. The rather basic breakfast, general tired appearance of the buildings and some features of the rooms, along with a some surly reception staff suggest this is far from being a 4 star hotel; although the restaurant staff and cleaners were very friendly. The hotel, like the resort, is most popular with Germans and the assumption is made that everyone staying is German - no English TV channels and only 2 Spanish channels! When busy, the pool area is claustrophobic. Very much an 'average' hotel.

Top Tip: The beach at Cala Mesquida is fantastic. We drove to various beaches while we were there, but kept coming back. In Cala Rajada, C'an Pere is a great little restaurant jutting out into the sea - simple and unpretentious; and El Puerto by the harbour, with its friendly staff, is another recommendation. The walk to the lighthouse is good exercise with some lovely views at the end of it. It's best to hire a car if you stay in this resort, if only to find some authentic Mallorcan flavour rather than 'Germany in the sun'!

Lovely clean hotel, very friendly staff, fabulous food, in fact the best all-inclusive buffet I have ever experienced. Entertainment staff were multi-national, lively and fun, and particualry great with our 8 year old son; they made a special effort to include him in the activities as most of the other children were Spanish and German. Evening shows were mostly good, particularly the band KoolKats, but if you fancied something different, it's just a short stroll into town to sample some of the great local bars, or walk along the harbour and promenade.

Top Tip: Do visit the cafe-bar at Sa Cova, Cala Litteras, less than 10 mins from the hotel. The live music on a Monday evening is great (3 bands, our line up included KoolKats!), and the bar has a fun atmosphere. It's in a small cove which provides a great spot for snokelling by day, and they operate a dive centre, (although we didn't try it).

I believe the hotel was build around 10 yrs ago and its looking in need of a refit in quite a few areas e.g. Reception, Gym, Restaurant and the Rooms are all areas money needs spend. The rooms are small but adequate for 2 adults and 2 small children. Staff are very friendly and are by far the hotel's best asset. Key let down is the restaurant where for all inclusive guests the food choice is quite limited and prepared to variable standards, some days good others not so. Also the restaurant had quite a large fly and ant problem, so if you are put off by ants walking across your table and flies on your food probably best to give this hotel a miss.
In summary the hotel may have been 4 star when it opened, unfortunately rating it against other 3 / 4 star hotels I've stayed in Mallorca I'd rate it more as a reasonable 3 star.
