“ We had an amazing time at the Altos Pinos. We were 2 adults and two kids (aged 3 and 5yrs) and were delighted with our little apartment. The apartments are nothing flash, but they are clean, relatively spacious and they all have balconies overlooking the absolutely gorgeous pool.
Arriving was easy (we rented a car at Palma, which made sense as it can cost 90 Euros each way in a taxi and we rented a car for a week for 250 Euros.) There is no reception - the keys are placed in an envelope at your apartment door - look out for your name in the lobby on the wall and you'll find out which apartment you are in.
Cala San Vincente is absolutely gorgeous - amazing scenery and gorgeous beaches. There are not a lot of restaurants to choose from, but we had some lovely meals - especially around the Don Pedro area. Shops are withing walking distance. The only downside perhaps is there is no pool bar/restauarant and you cannot take drinks or food down to the pool (so the list of rules said) - we did take drinks down though as it can get hot sitting at the pool!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Renting a car is a must though, if you like to sightsee and there are some great places to visit.
We stayed a further 3 nights in nearby Peurta Pollensa at a similar apartment complex, but with some entertainment for the kids and a pool bar and restaurant which was nice.
Overal, we would DEFINITELY return.
