Pinos Playa Hotel

The hotel building was constructed in 1972 and renovated in 2009. It consists of 5 floors in the main building with a total of 110 rooms, of which 10 are singles and 100 are doubles. The hotel also enjoys a spacious garden. The hotel facilities include a lobby with a lift, a TV room, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, a lounge, a playground, bicycle rental as well as a car park. Dining options include a homely bar and a non-smoking restaurant. Further facilities include Internet access and laundry services, both services for an added fee. This beach hotel, which is situated on a main thoroughfare along the cliffs above the bay of Cala Santanyi, lies within metres of the sea and 150 m from the nearest sandy beach, where sun loungers and parasols may be hired for an additional fee. Cala Santanye lies in the southeast of the island, 45 km from the airport and 55 km from the island's capital, Palma. Far from the tourist hordes, this hotel is located in uniquely beautiful surroundings in an attractive, quiet, wooded neighbourhood. Santanye, the main town, lies 4.5 km away and to the east, on the coast, lies Cala Lombards followed by Cala S'Almonia and Calo d'es Moro set in natural surroundings, and bordered on either side by Rafal and S'Avall, a protected nature reserve. Just 3 km to the west lies Cala Figuera, a picturesque fishing harbour, followed by Cala Mondrago nature reserve. Various restaurants and bars are located in the vicinity (200 m). Public transport connections are only a stone's throw away from the hotel.The comfortable rooms are equipped with satellite TV, a mini fridge, central heating (depending on the season) and a balcony. On leaving the airport, follow the signs to Santanye on PM-19, which leads through Campos to Santanye. On arrival in Santanye turn right on to the ring road and continue until the Cala Figuera/Cala Santanye junction and turn right. At the next roundabout turn right again off the Cala Figuera road down to Cala Santanye. At the stone well at the bottom of the valley turn right (following the signs) and the hotel is some 500 metres up the road on the left.Pets are allowed with a maximum weight of 5kg.
