Built in 1988, the complex in 2002, and offers a total of 454 lodgings, including one bedroom apartments and double rooms. A lobby with a 24-hour reception, a total of 8 lifts, a small supermarket, lounge, bar, TV room and restaurant count amongst the many facilities at the hotel complex. A laundry service, car parking facilities, a kids' club and a children's play area are also all available to guests. The hotel also offers an extensive pool area complete with its own grounds.This holiday complex is to be found in Calas de Mallorca.
After following a small dirt track for 600 m guests will arrive at the dream-like Bay of Cala Domingo. Alternatively guests may also take the road to the beach (approximately 900 m). The centre of the resort is just a few paces away (about 300 m). In addition, there is a miniature railway by which guests may easily reach the beach and resort centre.The tastefully designed rooms offer an en suite bathroom with shower, a direct dial telephone, a balcony and an in-room hire safe. Furthermore, apartments for up to 5 persons and doubles for up to 3 persons are available.Outside, the hotel has a pool with a children's paddling area, a pool bar, sun loungers and parasols. Countless sport options such as tennis (2 hard tennis courts), table tennis, archery, mini football, water polo, cycling (bicycle hire for an additional fee) and gymnastics means that there is something for everyone. In addition, an international entertainment programme together with evening shows are staged in the large nightclub hall.

“ ON arriving and walking out of reception towards the pool, I was pleasantly surprised. The pool area is impressive, the pool is large with lots of sunloungers available. Our room was an apartment, it was like having two separate rooms, ok not the most modern but what do you want for your money. The food was ok I particulary liked breakfast, if you missed a meal there was snacks so you wont go hungry. The soft drinks were on tap all day and the beer also through the day but not on an evening, but surprisingly there wasn't big queues. Overall can't complain for the money we paid.
“ Top Tip: The town is small with a few shops and bars, but you can get a regular bus to the resorts nearby. The beach is lovely, there are 2 coves next to each other and its a lovely walk on the clifftop.

Rooms - spacious but dated, we booked a 1 bedroom apartment which was ample big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Maids came every day but only seemed to change the towels and spray lemon air freshener.
Food- pretty dire, quality poor and choice poor, worst food I have ever had in Spain. The dining room was just way too small for the number of guests staying. Breakfast was horrendous, battle for a table, then a 10 minute wait to get a hot drink, a 10 minute wait to get hot food then a 10 minute wait for the toaster!!
Facilities - pool area great but not very clean, didn't see the pool area ever being cleaned. Daytime activities were archery, shooting, football and volleyball. Didn't hang around for the evening entertainment !!!
Not suitable for anyone wanting rest and relaxation, there are unsupervised children charging around everywere.
Would never return or recommend

“ hotel was ok but all old age pensioners that were german, really cost us a lot of money as was not apatrment and no cooking or fridge so had to dine out all the time

The hotel is a beautiful 14 floor building and has a total of 406 double rooms. It has an entrance hall with four lifts, a reception area open 24 hours daily that offers safety deposit box and money exchange service. Tonga Hotel also offers their guests a bar, a cafeteria, a games room and two television rooms. Available also is an Internet terminal, laundry service, medical attention, bicycle rental, kids club, a park so that the children can play and a car park. In addition, in the complex you will find an ample and a magnificent garden.
“ This hotel is advertised as 3 stars and it definatly is, The food was 3* all nice and there was something for everyone my daughter is vegatarian and there was plenty of choice each night but it wasn't repetative, The room is 3* but how long do you actually stay in your room when you are on holiday also the cleaning staff were very honest (we have had it before where they weren't.

This hotel was constructed in 1969 and was completely renovated in 1998. It has a total of 238 rooms on 9 floors, of which 18 are singles and 220 are doubles. There is a hotel lobby with a 24-hour reception and Wifi, a lift, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk and a television corner with satellite TV. Additional facilities include an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for children. For younger guests there is a kids club and a playground. There is a laundry service, medical assistance and Internet access available for guests.
“ When we stayed it was close to the hotel closing for the end of the season. Some of the options at mealtime was repetative. The daytime entertainment staff did the most to keep people busy, but I did not feel that the evening entertainment did not match this.
