Roc Illetas Playa Hotel and Apartments

“ Far exceeded our expectation.

We had booked two rooms in the hotel and although we arrived early (around 10:00) one of the rooms was available so we could store our luggage and change for the pool. – which was a nice positive start to the holiday. The rooms both had fantastic views, were well furnished and decorated, modern, spacious and very clean. We booked half board and we found the buffet to be well presented, with a very wide selection of dishes. The various fish dishes, in particular, were exceptionally well cooked. We found the staff in Reception to be helpful and efficient as were those in the Dining room. The daily maid service always kept our rooms clean and tidy. We had a late departure (around 20:30) so we paid E30 to retain use of one the rooms until 18:00 – which meant that we could fully enjoy the use of the hotel on our date of departure. The hotel was well situated with quite a wide seaside frontage. We noticed that other hotels in Illetas were more cramped. The only slight negative was that there were quite steep steps from the lift to the swimming pools, which could be a problem with young children or anyone with mobility restrictions.

“ Top Tip: Taxi from airport is 30 euros but on the way home we took bus 3 to Palma and then bus 1 to airport and was 3.50!

“ Excellent hotel in an area that is already well known to us. Children loved the swimming pools and the recreation area though in late October the outdoor pool was really chilly. Brilliant holiday

“ Top Tip: Petit Jardin and Adam y Eva Restaurants were great for child suitable meals at a good price.

“ This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel having stayed here 6 months previously. It's very nice and I would recommend this especially to couples.

“ Top Tip: No3 bus for Palma stops outside the hotel. Lovely little beach just down the steps (quite steep) and to the right of the hotel.
