Don Juan HSM Hotel

“ On arrival at the Don Juan, I discovered that it had been closed in order for building work to be carried out. I was very dissapointed that this was not communicated to me prior to my departure from the UK. My collegue noticed a piece of A4 paper attached to the interior door which referred us to an alternative hotel. Not a very acceptable level of communication< however we stayed at the Atlantic (next door to the Don Juan) and i must say that the servcie was excellenet, the rooms were really clean and the food was of a good standard. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“ Just back from a week at this hotel with my girlfriend. Read the reviews after booking, which kind of gave us doubts. Is it worth it? If you plan to come with your friends yes! If your wanting quality and relaxaion no. We have been to Magaluf loads of times and thought we would give this one a go. The pool and pool bar are nice when its opened or maned. The rooms are actually not too bad! Most places are apart-hotels with no air con but our room here was pleasent,we had a few cracked tiles but nothing major, laminate flooring is a nice bonus instead of ugly dirty floor tiles and the room was cleaned everyday! Although.. make sure to bang your door closed tight, as they tend to magicly re-open. If you do go all inc. dont expect to eat the food, i wouldnt serve this to a dog, it was really bad, and stinks out the reception area every meal time. As i said, if your planning a few wild days with a nice pool and decent place to stick yout head down then go for it :)

“ Top Tip: Head to panama jacks (panamas) across from BCM. Great staff, great cocktails, open till 6am then go next door for a panamas jumbo breakfast! Good times!

“ was a good clean hotel. beds and towels changed every day. not a very big pool area but we were just there last week so was still plenty of loungers as the hotel was not too busy. entertainment once a week, could have done with more. food fine and a good selection but a bit cold sometimes. bar manager was a bit dour faced and would only serve one drink at a time even though i was with my husband we still had to go up seperately to the bar. we enjoyed it but might be a different story in the height of the season
