The Ola Club Maioris Hotel rests in the wooded residential area of Puig de Ros about 6 km from the famous El Arenal beach on the south east coast of the island paradise of Majorca. Featuring 240 spacious rooms with modern amenities over 5 floors and surrounded by a lush pine forest, the hotel is ideal for guests interested in a quieter resort but within easy distance to the main attractions that Palma has to offer. Only 800 m to the coast, guests can relax on marvellous beaches and explore countless tourist attractions and facilities such as shops, restaurants, pubs, and discos. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 15 km from the hotel.
Local Tips: The hotel is in a perfect position for visits to Playa de Palma, just 6 km away, with public transport offering swift and reliable access to the rest of the island too! Several theme parks, such as Aqualand, are easily reachable.
Room Facilities:
The Ola Club Maioris Hotel is comprised of three buildings featuring 240 fully refurbished double/twin guestrooms over five floors, each with a capacity up to 3 persons. All rooms two single beds, air conditioning (in high season), full bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, Satellite TV, safety deposit box, and furnished balcony. Cots available on request (please note these are charged locally at a rate of €5 per cot per day). Some of these facilities are charged.

“ It's very strange to comment , i can't say that the hotel was a disaster but it just wasn't at all what i expected, When we booked this hotel for Oct half term we had read the comments from here and Trip Adviser. We took our 14yr old and to be honest he was ok because he met a few other teenagers the entertainent was non exsistant during the day , maybe a little mini club, night entertainment was very poor, the room was too small for the hotel , i felt the whole hotel was very conjested from the dining area , pool and entertainment room! The pool area struggled to get the sun from where it was situated and holiday makers were constantly moving from bed to bed throughout the day ,which was a real pain, the food was adequate but honestly some days wasn't up to standards , who has peas and carrots for breakfast? All in all we had a good holiday but not down to the hotel we just had a trip out here and there , we just made the most of the sun before coming home before winter sets in! I wouldn't go back and if you are looking for a sun holiday to chill near the pool forget it ! It is constantly blocked by the design of the building and the trees ! Certainly not a 4*

The actuall hotel is absolutly great, food was great and rooms clean and tidy.
However it is in a very, very quiet resort, with next to nothing around it to do both during the day and at night.
The hotel puts on a free bus to Palma and beach as this is not in walking distance.
“ Top Tip: We did walk down to the rocks and found some very interesting historic ruins in the sea.

A fairly self contained hotel - the nearest beach is a bus ride or long walk away. A bus or taxi is needed to get to Arenel or Palma but if you want to relax for your break - this is the place. If you have kids - they are well entertained and the adults are too with several things happening in the day if you want to move from your lounger. I wouldn't go in the height of summer as the pool area would be way too crowded.
The food - for carnivores - is quite something, with several meat and fish options at every meal. For vegetarians it is somewhat limited, but there is a full supply of salads and veggies as back up as well as staples such as pasta. I can guarentee you won't go hungry!
The staff are a delight - all main staff multi-lingual and happy to help in any way.
This is the second year at the Maioris and I can only hope that shows what a great place it is.

A completely renovated hotel located on the eastern coast of Mallorca overlooking the Sa Barca Trencada Cove. The complex includes a number of recent additions such as the Spa, athletic size swimming pool, sun deck, paddle courts and restaurants. All guest rooms and the rest of the hotel have been fully renovated. The whole family will enjoy the dining, sports and entertainment options the hotel has to offer.
“ We were happy with the food, facilities (especially swimming pools). we found entertaiment programme very good and professional. It is worth noting that the accommodation is spread over a wide area therefore room service would have been welcome.

Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Sun Club El Dorado is an all inclusive club paradise offering an unbeatable range of services and facilities for the whole family. Set amidst 70,000 m2 of pure nature and 90 m above sea level, the club resembles a Mediterranean village with everything a guest will need for the perfect holiday. The club includes 3 swimming pools, a water slide, a horse riding ranch, climbing wall, bars, and a restaurant among many other features. Transport service is also available (with charge) 7 days a week to El Arenal, Palma city, and Cal Pi. The Sun Club El Dorado is located 11 km from El Arenal and a shopping centre, and 15 km from Mallorca Airport. All rooms at this property are open plan. The difference between Superior and Standard room is in space: Standard bungalow has 12 sq meters and superior bungalow has 25 sq meters.

“ We were moved to this hotel after the one we booked had been closed early for the winter season and we couldn't have been more happy about it! The Marine restaurants were lovely and within walking distance and cheaper venues were easy enough to reach for those wanting a less formal option.

This familiar hotel was build in 1970 and renovated in 2004, it is composed of two buildings, separated by a nice swimming pool besides other one for children. The hotels offers a wide garden area equipped with hammocks, parasols and a tropical bar where clients will be able to enjoy any type of drink.
“ The hotel was clean and rooms cleaned daily. Location was good near the beach, shops and bus stops. The food was ok but not much variety. The wine served in the restaurant and bar was undrinkable.

“ A very loud hotel, mostly with groups of younger people, or maybe that was just the floor we were put on...? Breakfast average but coffee terrible :( For the price it was reasonable. Quite a walk to the beach but to be honest it was quite nice in the evenings or mornings to go for a coffee.
