Paguera Beach Hotel

“ This is the 5th time at "Paguera Beach" and we continue to be happy to revisit. Perhaps the best feature is the entire hotel staff, from Management to cleaners and domestics - so pleasant and courteous and a true smile from all. The appointments are first class, air-con obviously, with a role as 'Aparthotel' you have a small but comprehensive kitchenette with Microwave,hobs,coffee machine, fridge etc with all utensils. Hair dryer and a superb bathroom. Room service is nothing short of excellent with daily cleaning to a very high standard bath sheets and towels changed daily, bed linen frequently. The breakfasts no shortage of fruot,bread, eggs,bacon, even wine! Fresh Juices etc etc yogurts,cheeses,cakes and so forth. At dinner there is al la carte or standard dishes, but the deserts are to 'Die For' Now a word of caution....with a 100 plus bedrooms available and all full (Which speaks volumes) My wife and I were the only English visitors!! Peguera is very much a "German Resort" So if you have problems with this ? We certainly do not and at all times have found the guests to be genuinely pleased to meet and talk with us. We have holidayed in Paguera for the past 22 Years - and spend days around the Island by car. It is a most beautiful Island (Away from the Coast)

“ Top Tip: Booking independantly means taking Taxis from the Airport, and at 50 euros per way adds £90 or so to your stay. Plenty of good local cafes in the vicinity if you fancy a change from the hotel. Visist to Val de Mosa and Deia are a must. Andraxt - Camp de Mar just a few miles away. While the walk from Paguera to Es Capdella is simply stunning and is a completed rustic footpath of 5 miles or so.

“ Well kept and presented hotel, staff excellent, meals ok but basically designed for the german visitors.

Pool ok but not if someone really wanted to swim, no amenities for kids.

“ Our fourth visit to this Hotel and once more we were completely satisfied. The hotel is immaculate, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Centrally situated with plenty of bars/cafes adjacent, with the beach 2-300 Yards away. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous in the extreme. Having access to a "Studio" with a well appointed mini cooking area, Microwave,Hobs and fridge etc is a boon. The rooms are air con and all apointments are first class. The choice of food is more than adequate to meet even the most discerning. A word of caution...this is primarily a German hotel, we were the only English,but this is certainly not a problem in the slightest, we found all the guests very pleasant. The pool & outside bar area is lovely with entertainment 3 times a week. A word of warning, not to be tried !
Sadly Travel Republic pointed us towards a "Hotel Transfer" which appeared very reasonable,as opposed to taxis. HOWEVER we were longer on the transfer than on the 'Plane! and opted for the taxi on the return trip! But this didn't deter from a great holiday and we are back again in September.

“ Top Tip: The Atalaya Hostel fronting onto the Beach has a great vista and the owners are lovely people. Alt Hamburg (Calle Mimosa 12) 100 Yards from the hotel ( 1st right)
does a lovely half chicken off the Grill, order & book a table 1st. On the Boulevard near to the mainsupermarket is the BAR STOP - Where Jose runs a local cheap bar.
A muist is the walk over the Hill to Cala Fornels.
