Exceptionally clean, modern hotel in a central location. Many restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk from the hotel door. Rooms a very good size, but pay the extra and request a room with a balcony, and on a higher floor as you may experience traffic noise on lower floors. Reception staff could be more friendly and greet you with a smile, but they dealt with our requests efficiently, just a little sombre at times !
Only one lift in the hotel, which means you do have to wait a while at busy times, and also at breakfast, the restaurant is quite small to accomodate all of the guests, so sometimes there was a wait for a table, but the choices were good for a continental style breakfast. A plesasant spa room, which includes a steam room and sauna, and 3 exercise machines.
Would recommend for couples and small groups.Excellent hotel for a City break.

Top Tip: Great steaks in The Blockhouse restaurant a few doors away.

Good hotel overall. Centrally located. Good value for money bar. Nice buffet breakfast. However, the room was not serviced. Reception staff not overly helpful.

Top Tip: The bar serves a great ten euro bottle of rose wine, there was also a nice 19 euro bottle of rose cava. Daily special cocktails were very good value.

The Hotel reception area and restaurant were very nice with a modern twist!
The Spa looked good but unfortunately when we visited it the Jacuzzi was cold
the steam room and sauna were both off! It turns out that they are only on
between certain hours!

The triple room we were in was spacious, but rear facing with a an unpleasant view! We requested a balcony and nice view!!! if i had known they didnt
have any triple rooms with balconies i wouldnt have booked there! The hotel is described as recently re furbished, most of it had but the bathroom most definately had not!
However, taking into account the cost of the break i would say this hotel is
a good place to stay with easy access to restaurants and shops!

Top Tip: A visit to the Abaco bar is a must in the old part of town on Carre Joan no 1.
It is a bar in an old villa with a courtyard in the middle just a lovely place
to see, although dont expect a cheap drink!!!!
