“ The hotel was in an ideal for position for us as we were going on to Soller. The train station is just round the corner from the hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. On our return one night stay we were disturbed by the refuse lorry at 4.30am, not the hotel's fault but it may be worth getting a room away from Monteros.
“ Top Tip: One of the better local restaurants is very close by, the Cellar Sa Premsa. Proper Mallorcan food at reasonable prices.

Hotel is in the commercial area and at night we had to walk a fair way for food and drinks,also on Sunday not much open.
The big plus was the staff very friendly and helpfull nothing was too much trouble would stay again if we go to Palma again.
“
Top Tip:
Alamahind (not sure of spelling) Palace is free entry to EU people on Wednesday afternoon.
Train Trip to Soller very good day out but catch the bus back the 210 terrific views
Sundays head for port/La Longa areas for food and drink

“ WE had a one night stay at the Tryp Hotel prior to joining our cruise. Hotel staff were excellent and rooms and facilities(swimming poll/steam room etc) were first class .Breakfast ,which was included in price was ver good. Hotel in good location (although it is in the business area of Palma) and was only a short walk to main bus/railway station.It was a short walk to the "old town" and down to Palma Cathedral. One word of warning the hotel does have some bedrooms were smoking is still allowed. If you want "no smoking" you need to make this clear when making your bookig
“ Top Tip: Ca Prensa restaurant approx 200 metres from the hotel was excellent ,great atmosphere and good food/wine at very reasonable prices.Highly recommended.

The staff in this hotel were extremely pleasant and helpful.
However the hotel was not as comfortable as other four star hotels we have used in Spain or Portugal and more like a three star hotel.
