The Honolulu has been re-classed as an 18-30 hotel, and there were several stag & hen parties, and groups of younger people (mainly single sex groups), and with it being "All Inclusive", there is a lot of alcohol consumed.
Whilst I was there, there were also a good proportion of older people staying, and everybody seemed to mix satisfactorily.
For such a good value hotel, the food was surprisingly very good. There was always a good selection (at all meal times) and the hot meals were usually hot, which does not always happen on buffet-style meals. At breakfast there was always a good choice of "English" options, eggs, bacon, sausage, fried bread, baked beans etc, as well as smoked salmon and bucks fizz.
The bedroom was a little cramped, but we had 3 beds in it. It was clean and comfortable, although the air conditioning was poor. We had it on its coldest setting for most of the day and night, but it never got cooler than 21 degrees. Also, we requested a room with a "pool view" as this also gives amazing sea views, but were allocated a room at the back overlooking the solvista apartments.
At times, especially night-time, it got quite noisy, with people coming back to the hotel in the early hours, and shouting from one end of the hotel to the other, but this did seem to stop about 5am.
This is my 3rd visit to the Honolulu and I would certainly return, although I would prefer to be part of a group, rather than holidaying with just two others.
Overall, it is amazing value for money, has some great staff, and is only a stone's throw from some amazing entertainment, and the legendary strip!

Top Tip: Eastenders (about 80 yards away downhill) has some good value drinks, and a "bookie" on site every afternoon, and the Prince William (across the road from Eastenders) is also very good value. But beware, it is a steep uphill return to the hotel!

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The first 3 days of our stay there was great, there was Hen and Stag parties and everyone was having a good time, but then things changed, parties of all male,s began to arrive and then it was a nightmare, fighting between themselves, urinating over balconys onto passing people, shouting, kicking doors, abusing anyone who asked them to be a bit more considerate to other guests. (Forgot to say, food was very good)

Food was surprisingly good, room was nearly clean, bars were always well staffed and efficient.

We were in a stag party so was perfect. Good friendly atmosphere. If your going for a quiet relaxing holiday, look elsewhere.

Lads n' Lasses...bit student hall ish, drunken revellers banging on doors at 5am, that sort of thing! However, good value for money if you want to go to Magalluf, and the food and drink pretty good. Like the pool with bar too.

Top Tip: Bring ear plugs...forgot mine!
