Caballero Hotel didn't have a room for me. I was transferred to the nearby Hotel Java.
I had a car with me and spent 30 minutes driving round a grid of unlabelled one way streets before finding Hotel Caballero and a parking space. I wasn't very happy when I had to endure the same location and parking problems with the Hotel Java.

“ The hotel was full of very noisy elderly Spainish visitors. The room was small but clean and fine. The pool area was nice and the hotel is near the beach. I'm afraid the food wasn't very good. The cooked breakfast was always cold and the same thing.
“ Top Tip: It is easy to get the local bus to Palma. If you get a bus pass from a tobacconist for 8 euros you get 10 rides. Normally the bus costs 2 euros each time. Cant use on airport bus I'm afraid.

“ Top Tip: BEING BRITS IN A GERMAN RESORT IT IS NICE TO KNOW WHERE THE ENGLISH BARS ARE. WALKING TOWARDS CA'N PASTILLA, THERE ARE THREE BARS WHICH ALL SERVE FOOD AND HAVE VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. BUSBY'S BAR WHICH IS RUN BY TRICIA IS EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY.
