Built in 1971 and renovated in 1999 the fabulous 9-floor hotel has a total of 241 rooms, of which 24 are singles and 217 are doubles. The hotel's amenities include a 24-hour reception, 3 lifts, a bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area. In addition, it offers Internet access (for an additional fee), bicycle hire as well as a bicycle storage facility, parking facilities, laundry service and medical assistance.This luxury hotel is in a superb location by the Playa de Palma and is divided from the stunning fine-sand beach by a lively promenade. Plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops and bars are all found on the promenade.
The nearest golf course lies 12 km away and a convenient public transport link is located directly in front of the hotel.The elegantly furnished rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and a safe. Moreover they are equipped with central heating, a minibar, a fridge, central heating and a balcony with a sea view.The hotel has a pool with a separate children's area as well as a sun terrace with deckchairs, parasols and a snack bar. The hotel's indoor swimming pool is open until the end of April, however the Jacuzzi, solarium, the gym, bocce as well as table tennis and a sauna (for an additional fee) are available all year round. The entertainment programme is available 5 times a weekly and includes live music, dancing and shows.

The location of the hotel is excellent being directly across the road from the beach. I say road but this is really a cycle lane that goes all the way to Palma,you then have the beach which is spotlessly clean.
We booked half board and found the food very good with plenty of choice for both breakfast and evening meal.
Our room was clean and spacious with clean towels provided every day.One slight moan here however. Our room was close to an office used by the in house cleaning staff resulting in some noise from around 7.00am.
During our stay it was my partners 50th birthday. The hotel did not know this but on seeing a birthday card in the room on the day,we came back to find a note and complementary bottle of champagne ... a nice touch.
Ive seen alot of people on this site (and others ) moaning about the number of Germans in both the resort and the hotel but if you try talking to some of them you might be pleasantly supprised !
“ Top Tip: You can catch the number 15 or 25 bus outside the hotel every 10 or 20 mins respectivley. Both go to Palma at a cost of 1.50 euros each way. However you can buy a card from the local shop for 11.00 euros that gives you 10 trips ( 5 trips each way )

“ Good hotel, good position on beach and beside shops and restaurants. Food and service good.
“ Top Tip: Playa del palma beach is well maintained and stetches for miles. Close enough to Palma city if you like exploring cities.
