Hotel staff were friendly & professional. The indoor pool and sauna were both clean and a good temperature. We joined in the Pilates class but it was taught in German and so we found it a little difficult to follow! The tennis is free. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and included smoked salmon and bucks fizz!
The suite was clean and just the right size but there were a few chunks of plaster which had been knocked out probably by previous careless customers so it would benefit from a bit of re-decoration and repair.

Top Tip:
There is a supermarket literally a stones throw across the carpark which is very useful if you want to stay in and use the kitchenette to prepare a light supper. The television is not JUST German & Spanish channels but also has BBC1 & BBC2.
The number 23 bus stops outside the hotel and takes you right into the city of Palma which is about 15 mins away and costs 1.10 Euros per journey. If you get off at the Placa D'Espanya stop and cross over the road you can catch the number 1 bus which takes you to the airport and costs 1.85 Euros it runs every 15 mins. The Placa D'Espanya is also a good place to begin your walk around the oldest part of Palma along the narrow back lanes and past Moorish courtyards to the cathedral.

“ The hotel was excellent,however it was a German hotel and catered for German people,every thing, notices,menu's even the staff spoke German. I did not realise when I booked this hotel that Playa de Palma and El Arenal were in a German area of Majorca.Although the hotel was superb we did feel slightly isolated being English.

“ This is an excellent hotel, we had a junior suite which was great for us and we really enjoyed the first class swimming pool fed by a saltwater well which cleared up my excsma. Free Spa and tennis/ raquets facilities were was also great.

The hotel was built in 1970 and completely renovated in 1995. It has 10 storeys with a total of 341 rooms of which 34 are singles and 307 are doubles. Guests are offered a large, peaceful garden with a sun terrace, a spacious lobby with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. Furthermore there is a games room, a TV room, a cafe, a cosy bar, a pub, an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's highchairs available on request. A conference room and Internet access are available for business guests. Room and laundry services are at guests' disposal and there is a doctor on call. The hotel also features a bicycle storage facility and rental as well as parking facilities. Younger guests may let off steam in the kids club or the play area.
“ The hotel was lovely and clean and the food was excellent. The location was very good being only 5 minutes from the beach but far enough away not to be disturbed by the party animals.

The building was built in 1975 and renovated in 1998 and comprises 12 floors with a total of 180 double rooms. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and offers a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access and a panoramic outside lift. Additional facilities include a bar with satellite TV, a games room, a TV room and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area. Internet access is also available with wireless connection through WLAN. Additional facilities include a laundry service, bicycle hire and storage, as well as medical assistance.

The Hotel Oleander is situated in an ideal spot, peaceful and oniy 100 mts. from the marwellous Playa of Palma beach, a six kilometers stretch of fine white sand. The rooms are espacious and comfortable, all with terrace, complete bathroom,telephoe with exterior line, Satélite TV in rooms,piped music,safe, central heating. and Air conditioning, Bar, hall and conference room. Service of buffet in the dining-room, snack-bar, barbacue,.Billard, Sauna, Whirpool, table-tennis, and a specially equipped room for cyclist.
