Hi! Lancaster Hotel

“ Hotel clean and staff friendly/helpful. Arrived at 10.30am and our room was ready for us. Rooms adequate. Food varied but like a lot of buffets not very hot but they did have a microwave whch came in handy as I like my food very hot. Large clean pool area with quite a few tables/chairs.

One negative point: we stayed on an all inclusive basis and in the bar they even gave us cheaper/different machine coffee which I thought was really mean. They said it was because we were not paying guests. I'd like to know what we were because we didn't stay there for nothing.

“ This Hotel was everything i expected, it was friendly and the staff would do what they can for you and help you if you needed it. The hotel was clean and the food was freash all the time. I would go back again.

“ Top Tip: This area as a lot of bars and good restaurants but some of them are not open all year round. They is a number of buses that runs every 10 mins so you can get around and see the sites.

“ This hotel is OK - mainly geared to German market, and meals reflect this. There was usually something to eat. Meal times were interspersed with half hour breaks between main and snacks. No information sheet was provided for the services and facilites available at the hotel and no entertainment was on, but htis was down to it being October.
All the staff were happy and most helpful. The beach is a good walk but it is all flat. The beach and sea were lovely and clean - beds are 4.90 euros.

“ Top Tip: There was a lovely tapas bar - San Siro just two blocks away which was great for a break from all the German food.

“ Lets stick to the facts. The Hotel is a dated 3 star sixties built hotel full of Spanish OAP'S as well as English OAP,s who actually live in Spain but received their discounted holiday from the Spanish Goverment ( The British Goverment could learn from this).
I had read the reviews from travel republic and trip adviser prior to leaving so had an idea what to expect but it was better than we expected.
The food was plentiful, hot and of a good standard ( better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed in). The Hotel was clean and our bedding and towls were changed every day for the 5 nights we were there. The drinks were not watered down and although not branded, tasted just fine. All in all, we had a really relaxing stay and would go again in the winter ( Summer full of 18/24 German yobs). Perfect for the price we paid.

“ Top Tip: There is a local bar right across the Road from the hotel ( i cannot remember the name) and the owner has some connections with Horse trotting Racing.
There are pictures all round the bar with horses and riders and the prices are very reasonable ( The portions put in our glasses were very large as well).
The owner and his father were characters.
