“ Stayed here over Easter 2012 on All-Inclusive basis. The public and pool areas of this hotel are very pleasant and well cared for. Nice lounge / bar areas. Staff are really polite, friendly and eager to please.

Dining room also very pleasant. Food selection was typical 3 star spanish food. Bacon and eggs plus usual cereals juices and cold selection for breakfasts. Plenty of salads at lunch and evening plus choice of a fish, a meat, pasta and a vegetarian dish. bit short on vegetables though! Never went hungry but nothing special either - but at the price we paid couldn't complain.

No shortage of local alcoholic and soft drinks as part of the package. Shame they felt the need to serve in plastic beakers rather than glass! Only real complaint was the cioffee which must rate as the worst I've ever had - was from a pre-mix machine and dreadful. I paid to have a decent coffee.

Bedrooms were basic and dated but spotless clean and a nice bathroom which had been updated so pleasant enough.

5 minute walk to the beach, bus stop (very regular service into Palma etc.) Lovely promenade to walk along for hours if you want to.

If you are looking for a pleasant, good value hotel, with good staff in a decent location this hotel will not disappoint - other than dated bedroom.

“ Hotel good, very friendly, very clean ,good food with a good selection and variety.Only downside, outside areas`in need of refurb., and no facilities for anyone travelling with small children. The area where the hotel [Playa de Palma] is situated is very German, it didn`t matter much to us as we speak German, however, most people in the area speak very good english.

“ Top Tip: Endless good bars and restaurants in the area.

“ I have stayed at many hotels in the c,an pastilla and playa de palma. I have stayed at 3star and 4 star like the hotel helios, hotel playa golf and the el cid but to name a few. I travel for short breaks three or four times a year and this is the second worst hotle i have stayed at, the anfora beach being the worst but saying that it was a 2 star. I went all inclusive and was treat like a leper. I would ask for a milky coffee which i love in spain they went to the proper machine to make me one but as soon as they saw the blue wristband they went to the other machine that you get at breakfast. I ended up having to pay for my coffee because as its ok for breakfast its not good enough to be drinking all day. The food in the afternoons at this hotel was not to bad but at evening meals was awful the poor meat had been murdered twice i dont know if it was a different chef and i use the term very loosely here but there was clearly a difference. I was on the sixth floor and the view was nice but kept getting locked out of my room so i trapsed back down to reception and was given another card, this went on three times the first night till i lost my temper and demanded someone came up with me and let me in or i would sleep on the sofas in reception. Please dont waste your money there are great hotels like the hotel leo, helios, el cid, playa golf to waste your money on this so called hotel. The swimming pool was out of use with red tape all around it and no entertainment at all. I had to laugh though because late night snacks were supposed to be available which consisted of a small bowl of some sort of cracker but i didnt bother. Also travel republic didnt sent my hotel details out in time after phoning them but they did say they would send them out again for me which was a waste of time as i was flying in the morning so overall i would not give this a rating at all not if you want a swim or an evening meal worth eating or if you would like to get into your room at all .

“ good value for money. food good, beer ok for all inclusive. you served yourself at the bar which was different, only downside the bar shuts at 11pm for all inclusive cutomers, so we went down the road to a local spanish bar till about 1am. 1 euro a bottle, english bars are charging 2.5euor a bottle

“ Top Tip: dont spend your money in any english bars there the most expensive.you expect the germans and spanish to rip you off but its the english riping the english off. i hope they all go bust!!!!!!
