Tres Torres Apartments

“ Overall pleasant and basic. The apartment/flat comprised of bedroom (with built in wardrobe, bedside tables), lounge (large sofa, dinner-table, TV) balcony with view to pool and table/chairs, Kitchen (with fridge/freezer, crockery, oven/stove, clean sink), utility room, shower/bath.

Positive
-Clean and spacious
-Excellent value for money
-Staff were very welcoming, friendly and willing to assist
-Perfect location: 2 mins from beach, bars, restaurants
-Good bus links 2 mins away running every 15 minutes to Palma (around 40mins) Number 15 & 25 (1.25 Eur e/w)
-15 minutes from airport (20 Eur by cab)
-Bedroom windows could be left open with shutters down to keep cool
-Central heating if staying in winter
-Well kept grounds around pool and bar with tall palms and flowers in garden

Negative
-Fittings in the bathroom such as the plug holes and taps looked a bit worn.
-Noise was also issue, the walls seemed to channel sound at night and passing coaches in the early hours seemed to be common.

“ Top Tip: -Mainly a German/Dutch resort. Expect the odd lederhosen-clad bar tout. The German bar scene was not offensive but sometimes loud and easily avoided (the promenade is wide so just walk closer to the beach).
-Generally the resort had a good selection of restaurants as well as several lounge bars which offered a pleasant candlelit-and-wicker-armchair alternative to the typical Brit-Bar found in many Spanish resorts.
-Make the 20 minute walk to 'Las Sirenas' just perched above S'arenal marina for excellent seafood and laid back atmosphere.
-Typically meals cost us (2 persons) around 60 Eur per evening including wine and 2/3 courses.
-The beach bars had cheap day time food e.g. 3 Eur for frankfurters, bacon and chips
-BEWARE of the Senegalese men selling watches and trinkets. Don't engage in conversation, they are not rude or abusive but they want your money.
-Sitting by the sea for sunsets was a must

“ Having stayed 4 times at Tres Torres we knew what to expect and enjoyed our stay very much. A good location for beach, restaurants, and trips to Palma and around the island. However we felt that the inside of the apartments (ours anyway) was in need of some repair.

“ Top Tip: C an Teract, a tipico spanish/mallorquin rest newly opened in the square with the church along the Playa de Palma excellent food, as is the original rest. situated on a back road leading out of Arenal.

“ hotel very basic needing to be updated more like 2 stars hotel appartment!!

“ Top Tip: The beach was at the bottom of the road you can walk for miles ! the resort is really catered for germans and dutch!so if you are two english girls i would go to pamanova resort!people where friendly nice resturant at the top of the road on the corner.

“ nice clean apartments, with plenty of room for 3 adults. all the staff spoke good english which is the first time we have found this in our 4 holidays we have had in this resort. we liked the location, just a 2 min walk from the beach and all the shops and just 1 min walk from the bus stop to take you to palma
over all we would defo go back to this apartments but not at this time of year as everything was either closed or closing for the winter
