This is a clean well run hotel where you can unwind and relax. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and friendly and make everybody feel welcome.
There is a good choice of food and always lots of fresh fruit and salad to choose from.
There are no bad points and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I have been staying here since 1985 and when I suggested it to my Mum and my sisters I hoped they would love it too!
My sisters are now coming back to the hotel with their husbands so they genuinely loved it as much as I do!
A fabulous gem of a place.

We have visited the Cala Marsal hotel many times over the past 10 or so years and it always delivers lovely clean and well run accommodation and very friendly staff with great service. The hotel is very quiet in October which suites us but might not suit people who want more entertainment and activities. However - even though the hotel was due to close for the season the week after we left, the standards were maintained. The people that stay in the hotel are mostly French, Italian and German (hence the good standard of food and cleanliness).
We can thoroughly recommend the Cala Marsal in Porto Colom.

“ Nice Hotel with one major fault - Food was always cold in the end we just ate salads & cold meat. The hotel is in a very quiet area on the east coast if you want clubs and bars go elsewhere, apart from food issue the hotel is first class.
“ Top Tip: Nice 1km walk through hotel grounds covered in trees & shrubland but follow path don't do what we did and get lost, the small port of Portocolom is well worth a walk beers are cheaper if you go into local bars off the main spread....enjoy

“ Hotel was great, the pools were lovely and the grounds are beautiful. The food got really boring as it was the same thing most nights and I'm not a fussy eater but didnt enjoy the food.
“ Top Tip: Cleaners start at 8am and are really loud, our flight got in at 2 and we were woken by them at 8 banging and chatting outside the room, I forgot to put do not disturb on the door and they knocked for a good 5 minutes at 8.20 till I answered (half asleep)!!

“ The hotels all inclusive board is very misleading you can only eat and drink in certains parts of the hotel and the range of alchoholic beverages available is very limited. You also can only eat at meal times if you miss a sitting you can only opt for either a soggy sandwich or pay for a snack in the pool bar. The food had some nicer days and there was variety but most meals were very samey. The saviour was the beach which is gorgous and just across the road. We spent the entire time here to avoid being at the hotel which had very little ambience and was in all honesty quite boring. The entertainments team were all really friendly and the kids club was great for little ones but in terms of adult entertainment there was none and when you haven't got much alternative in terms of bars nearby this can make for very long evenings. Mallorca is beautiful but would recommend staying somewhere a bit more lively. I would say that the four star rating is very misleading.

Top Tip:
The catamaran which can be boarded from the bay is worth going on at 20 euros, tickets can be purchased from a bar next to the beach and gives you the chance to view the stunning coastline.
