The hotel was very clean and bedding and towels were changed every other day.
It was mostly All Inclusive although Self catering and Half board was available.
Staff were ver helpful and friendly.
A very large pool whichy was cleaned every day
All in all a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday.
I would recommend this hotel and am going back again next year
“ Top Tip: A trip on the Glass Bottom boat is a must. It goes round the coast and stops at other beaches and eventually at Cala D'or. Definitely not to be missed

For the very reasonable price we paid for our short stay, we were not at all disappointed!! Our apartment was very clean and had everything we required. The swimming pool area was very nice, our 6 year old loved it. We found all the staff to be very helpful indeed, all were very happy with all the facilities provided.
If we came to Porto Colom again, we would definately book in!!

“ Had a lovely week at the hotel. There is not much to do in the area, so if you want a nice relaxing holiday this is the place to go. Not many English there but that did not bother us. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely. The food could have been better, more choice needed at breakfast. You can upgrade to all inclusive on a daily basis, which we found very good.

“ Quiet location with excellent beach 10 minutes from apartment. Small selection of excellent seafood ( but quite pricey) restaurants nearby. Small selection of cheaper restaurants adjacent to apartments. Nice pool with ample sunloungers with areas suitable for small children. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms basically furnished but clean with nice balcony and with all you need for self catering. Excellent for families with small children or couples wishing to get away from the usual holiday buzz. Bus service to nearby resorts. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and felt that the holiday was excellent value for money. How quiet and peaceful!! We are mother and daughter aged 55 and 25.
“ Top Tip: Excellent cove with soft sandy beach (10 minutes walk). Not overcrowded and ideal for sunbathing and swimming.

Although a 2 key apartment all the facilities we needed were there. The pool was excellent.
“ Top Tip: A great bar/bistro not too far away was the Bar Citrus run by English family - excellent food and service and good prices too!

The Plazamar Apartments are centrally located in Santa Ponsa, and very close to the beach. Nearby there are many shops, cafes and restaurants. This is a hotel for the whole family since it provides an entertainment programme for all ages, such as sports, games, live shows. The hotel offers, among others, a lagoon style swimming pool with children's section, sun terrace, library, children's playground and children's club. The comfortable studios and the one bedroom apartments are all with air-conditioning and a kitchenette. The Airport is 25 km away. NEW: Plazamar offers Premium All Inclusive.
“ Clean, friendly hotel. Good maid service, shower etc. Couple minutes walk from beach. Went oct 10th, weather great, hotel quiet because of. Only minus for us, they have an all inclusive drinks option, from 10am - 10pm, so after 10pm = no people / atmosphere.( tight gits). Plenty of bars in town 5 mins away. Beach really good and safe.

Renovated in the year 2000, the hotel has a 7 storey main building with 7 single rooms, 113 are doubles and 27 are suites. The hotel has a reception which is open 24 hours. A bar, pub and a TV room, as well as a restaurant are all within the hotel for guests to use. There is also Internet access available, for an additional fee, as well as a laundry service and a playground.
“ The hotel is quite nice for the price is really good, but the food is really bad, well not bad but the problem is they don´t have diferent food everyday was the same food on the buffet. The staff was really good, especially the receptionist and the bar staff.

“ It is a lovely hotel for families as the animation team are great, they cater for kids and adults. Younger people up to about 16 but over that i think they would be bored as no proper night life was around although we did go in October and a lot of pubs were closed.
