Nice old fashioned hotel/hostal from an older time with no frills but good value. We would have paid an extra 50 euros for more water pressure and hot water! They should try and fix this but overall a good time was had.

Agree with the other reviews. You get what you see and pay for. This is a very well run hotel, basic yes but clean well looked after, nothing is too much trouble, rooms cleaned with towels changed every day. Breakfast is basic continental but of good quality and plentiful. There is no lift (never found it if there is one) but the view from our 3rd floor balcony was worth the climb. We hope to be back in the near future. Porto Petro is a place for a chill out holiday, no late night partying here. Good transport links with both local buses and taxis to nearby beaches and towns.

Top Tip: Manana chill out cafe/bar for well priced drinks and free wifi, the Piscis cafe for good food well cooked great prices for those times you don't feel like a full restaurant meal. Any other of the restaurants as they all offer great food in the lovely surroundings of the harbour. The Caracola for the lunch time 7.5 euro meal of the day. If you hire a car visit the tapas restaurant, Sa Placa, in S'Alqueira Blanca, you need to book a table for saturday nights.

Hotel was basic but very clean, new clean towels every day. As our room had a balcony to the street it was a little bit noisy with all the cars and motorbikes. The hotel pool was clean and quiet. Good place after the busy beach. The family who is running the hotel is very nice and helpful, renting a car took us only 5 minutes and it was a good prize. If I would go back next year I would definitely go back there. We loved it. Porto Petro is a quiet town and with a car you can go around easily.Every day on a different beach, that is why we loved Mallorca so much.

Top Tip: Good and nice beach was 5 minutes away in Cala Barca and Cala Mondrago. Best beach Cala Lombards 10 min. with car south.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The rooms although basic were spotless and were cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen. The breakfast was perfect (not full english) but had plenty to choose from with as much as you liked.
Although we never used it, there was a lovely big pool with bar area at the rear of the hotel.
The hotel was very quiet itself, but not far from restaurants and shops which were set around a small marina.
This hotel was a great choice for the short break which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Top Tip: Cala Mondrago beach is not very far from the hotel we used the local open top bus which runs frequently to get to it. It has perfect soft sand with crystal clear sea which is safe for children to play.
Beware of the sun bed man, who charges 15euro per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umberella whatever time of day you arrive there!
We had some of our best food at the beach bar.
