“ This was our second visit to Don Miguel so we had no illusions as to their quality. They're perfectly adequate and represent very good value for money. There are only two rings on the electric hob so self-catering can be challenging and early in the season the options for eating out are limited this far out from the centre of Puerto Pollensa. If you don't mind walking into the town centre the options expand accordingly. The walk will take about 20 minutes.
Following extensive improvements in the road infrastructure the apartments are now very handily situated on the main road to Alcudia and Palma so car hire can be a godsend. Watch out for large predatory groups of cyclists in skintight clothing riding 4 abreast and intimidating drivers!

“ Top Tip: I've always rated PP as a base for birdwatching in the north of Mallorca and now I like to go back with my family to chill and dabble. Most birders will already know the best sites but amongst them I list the reserves at S'Albufera and S'Albufereta, together with the Boquer Valley and the Cuber Dam. If you like a good English to set you up in the morning there's a little cafe just off the Pine Walk charging 4 Euros per head.

“ We stayed in a residencial apartment and was amazed to find a dish washer and washing machine, admittedly we didn't use either appliance but so handy if you have a family. It was well equipped and would recommend this apartment. Entertainment and beach very near, beach and sea very safe for children. A most enjoyable and relaxed holiday and would definate book with Travel Republic again.

“ Top Tip: There are fish in the sea which swim around you, some are quite big but safe. We bought a bagette each day and broke it in half, waded out and held it in the water. It was great to see some many fish feeding from your hand.
