4th time at Hesperia and i dont think we;ll back the hotel location is the best thing about it the staff are helpful and friendly and rooms are spotless but we noticed on our last visit two years ago that the quality of the food was slipping and on this visit it was dreadful choice was limited and repetative ,everything was only slightly warm eg: guests had to heat there food up in microwave We had breakfast on day we arrived cold eggs cold tomatoes cold beans and chopped up hotdog sausages queues for toaster 10 deep didnt go back Evening meals were dreadful so we ate out most nights an expense not budgeted for but necessary.
poolside loungers are practically on top of each other and only about 10 parasols
available between 120 beds
“ Top Tip: go room only if possible. Murpheys kitchen is good food and quick services McTavishes pub for live entertainment

Very well run hotel , friendly helpfull staff. Exceptionally wide choice of breakfast options from cereals through to full fried also fresh crepes and all the usual continentals of cheese, cold meats, fruit and pastries.Can't comment on dinner options as I was only on B&B .
Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels on request. I had a top floor side seaview room which was very good with very little street noise and could even get the free wifi provided on the beach which was literally a stones throw from the hotel entrance.
Good sized clean pool with plenty of sun loungers and permenant life guard on duty ( I want his job )
As mentioned hotel is in a prime location next to the beach and is only a couple of minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars of which there is a very good selection.
“ Top Tip: Take boat trip from Captain Rubio who has a booth across from the hotel . Good full day out with food and free sangria at lunch time. Boat has underwater viewing rooms for that reverse aquarium effect .
