Alhaurin Golf Hotel and Resort

“ Would like to see some tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.

“ The Hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms are a very generous size and quite well appointed (we would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room). The restaurant and outside eating area were very pleasant and the food (on half board) was of good quality and a good variety on the menu each evening, likewise the breakfast had something to suit all tastes.
Generally the staff were pleasant but not over friendly.
I enjoyed a round of golf on the superb course, the staff at the clubhouse were helpful and courteous.
We would definetely recommend the hotel and we would stay again.

“ We stayed Aug 2011 - 2 adults + 6 year old boy. Lovely hotel - spacious & spotless rooms (approx 40 rooms), comfy beds, air con and balcony. Staff very helpful and friendly. Half board excellent value for money - food was great and different every night (we stayed for 11 nights). If you like peace and quiet this hotel is ideal. The Alhaurin resort also has a golf course, tennis courts but the hotel is separate although the staff tend to work in both the hotel and the club house. We would stay again when we return to the Costa del sol.

“ Top Tip: You will need a car as there is little to do at the hotel. 15 km from Fuengirola for lovely beaches. Alhaurin El Grande, 2km - traditionally spanish town with a good sized supermarket. Handy petrol station for water, newspapers, snacks etc 2 mins from hotel.
