Useful base for exploring andalucia. There were some short-comings at the hotel which may have been due to the timing of our trip - e.g. there was a school trip to the indoor swimming pool! and we had cold showers on the last day. Staff were not very attentive and the public areas could have done with a brush and clean up.
the beds weren't the most comfortable, however the balconies overlooking the swimming were a nice addition. the buffet breakfast is 11 euros if not pre-booked. Not a huge amount of quality items to choose from for a 4star. The evening bar snack menu is uninspiring, but useful as its 24 hour! Again, not what you would expect for 4 star, but perhaps understandable for this small Spanish town.
“ Top Tip: the town is worth a look around. there is a funny green hop on hop off open mini bus which is 8 euros each which takes you around various parts of the town which is probably the best way to get a quick overview. everywhere is siesta at 2pm - and this includes the tourist bus, so plan to do this in the morning to get your moneys worth. also, if you have a hire car - try to avoid parking at the top of the hill! bit of a steep walk up and down!

“ Have been going to Antequera for the last six years.This hotel and area is very nice, the people are so friendly, lots of historical buildings and lots of chapels/churches. Good location to explore the surrounding area as the road system is good.
“ Top Tip: We always stop at the Plaza bar/restaurant for a nightcap or two, you cant miss it, its next to the large fountain. We have not had a bad meal anywhere in the town.
