Such is the importance of the areas around the hotel that each apartment is themed after one of them - the Christian village of Bobastro, Alora Castle, Torcal de Antequera, Ronda and its baths, the Roman city of Acinipo and the prehistoric cave of Ardales. Parking and covered parking are provided for an extra fee.This hotel is situated in the historical quarter of Ardales town, in the heart of the Guadalteba region, an ideal location for escaping city life and enjoying outdoor activities surrounded by the extraordinary beauty of the countryside. It is very well comunicated and aprox. 40 minutes apart from Malaga city, Antequera and Ronda. The lakes are only 5.5kms apart, where guests can enjoy nature, hiking, climbing and other activities.The en suite apartments are designed and decorated individually with a capacity for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 people. They each offer a dining room, fully equipped kitchen including a fridge, individually adjustable heating and air conditioning, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a direct dial telephone.The hotel has a swimming pool in its grounds with sun loungers and parasols as well as a hot tub, solarium and hammocks. The apartment complex is also an ideal base from which to visit the area's wealth of natural attractions, including the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes - El Chorro, Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, the Torcal de Antequera, Fuente de Piedra Lagoon or the Serranea de Ronda. The historical sights of Malaga historical sites are also within reach, such as the prehistoric Cueva de Ardales, the Mozarabic churches of Bobastro, the medieval castles of Guadalteba, the dolmens of Antequera, the city of Ronda and some of the various cities along the Costa del Sol. Friendly and helpful staff. Alicia speaks excellent English, and provided an information pack which was both interesting and useful. Appartments are very comfortable and have been tastefully re-furbished.
Kitchenette fine, but no kettle which I think should be provided as standard, but otherwise adequately equipped.
“ Top Tip: A very good base for visiting the many hill-top towns and villages with their castles and churches - Ronda, Olvera, Campillos, Antequera, Teba and Alora, the list is endless. The mountains, lakes and reservoirs provided spectacular scenery and a surprising number and variety of birds, ranging from vultures and buzzards to kingfishers and goldfinches.

Friendly Reception Staff..
Nice accomodation.
Not suitable for families with young children.
The only thing I missed was a balcony but due to the village location / architecture balconies were not feasible.
Ardales is a Spanish village/small town so if you want Freds Bar and Joes Fish and Chips this place is not for you.
However if you want to soak up Spanish Culture in an area with 3 National parks you won't be disappointed.

A lovely apartment complex in a beautiful area, located in a small spanish village with a few spanish local bars/restaurants and a small supermarket.
The hotel receptionist (Lola) was exceptional, providing lots of local information and really helped us to feel welcome.

El Cenachero hotel is situated in a popular fishermen and quiet district of Malaga city known as el Palo. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and just 30 minutes away from Malaga international airport. Well served by public transport, it is possible to reach the most attractive destinations of the city in just a few minutes. All the apartments are spacious and comfortably decorated. There is a terrace roof in the building equipped with chairs, tables, sunshades and deckchairs where guests can sunbathe or relax.

The hotel is situated within a former flour mill dating back to the 19th century and was converted into the present establishment, comprising a total of 19 modern rooms, in 2001. Facilities on offer include a foyer with 24-hour reception, a cosy bar, and a restaurant serving both traditional and innovative dishes. There is a play area available for younger guests and on-site parking spaces for those arriving by car.

Built in 2003, this hotel offers the best comforts over three floors with a total of 10 rooms, of which one is a single room and 9 are doubles. It offers mountains and the sea as well as relaxation for the body and soul.
“ The hotel was clean, beautifully designed and furnished, the staff were kind and helpful and made you feel at home. I was in a quiet area down a small side street. Big flat screen in the room as well as a CD player. I would go back.

Hacienda Puerta del Sol is located in the centre of the Costa del Sol, with Fuengirola beach only a short distance away. The hotel offers 130 large comfortable bedrooms tastefully decorated and well equipped with the latest facilities and amenities. Other features include a bar for guests to relax in and a restaurant serving a varied menu.
“ We had a lovely stay at this Hotel, unfortunately we went in January and there wasn't much on, the indoor pool wasn't available and there was no evening dinner, only snack menu, which meant we had to go out for dinner every evening, but very comfortable and clean, I'd say in the higher season there would be more to do. Very pleasant stay though.
