“ No problems at all with this hotel. We had a superior room on a bed and breakfast basis on the fifth floor overlooking the road. No road noise kept us awake. Beds were comfortable and the decor and furnishing of a very good standard. The room was a little small with not much storage, but as we were only staying three nights this was not a problem. The bathroom was large and modern with hot water and a power shower. Plenty of fluffy towels and maid service every day. No English channels though and although reception said there should be at least BBC World we could not find it. Air conditoning worked well and was quiet. Breakfast was good with a few hot dishes and plenty of choice of cold meats, cheese, pastries, yogurts, fruit, cereals etc. A good coffee machine that made a nice change with hot coffee! The hotel is very close to the main shopping district and the old town. Because of this we would not hesitate to book this hotel again and will probably do so for our next visit in September. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous in the main square and shopping areas. Parking over the road in a covered car park is expensive at 12 Euro per day - we parked in a side street not far away for free. Hotel is difficult to find if you don't know Malaga well. Would probably get a taxi next time or take the train.

If you are on a budget many restaurants do a set menu as low as €8 if you don't
mind eating between 1&4pm.

“ Good location within 5 minutes walk to the main shopping/restaurant areas. Reception staff were super and very amiable and helpful. Rooms well appointed but several small maintenance jobs needed attention. The restaurant was great for breakfasts, but the evening (after 8:00 p.m.) was a disaster for us. There was no atmosphere and we were treated almost with hostility by the solo waiter, who never greeted us, smiled or spoke to us except when it was necessary. The food although presented well, was bland, no flavour, and uninviting and we didn't eat it.

“ This hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed in! It was in an excellent position with easy access to the sights, the restaurants and the beach. We had rooms on the 12th floor which had fabulous views over the harbour.

The city hotel was renovated in 2004 and consists of a 9-storey main building and a 5-storey annexed annexe block with a total of 118 rooms of which 12 are singles, 100 are doubles and 6 are suites. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a lift. Other facilities include a café, a bar, a TV room, a games room, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, a conference room, an Internet terminal as well as a car park and a garage. The hotel additionally offers a room and laundry service for guests. The plush, welcoming rooms are en suite and fitted with a hairdryer. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, central heating, a hire safe, a sitting area and a minibar.
“ The room and bathroom was expetional. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful. The location is great for visiting the bars and reastaurants aroudnt the old town. Will book this hotel again
