“ The Hotel was in a great location close to both the beach and city centre. Would not class this as a 4 star hotel but have no complaints as such.
“ Top Tip: If visiting Malaga It would be a shame to miss out on a day trip to Ronda amazing views and buildings not for those who dislike heights though.

We have just returned from a four night stay at the Petit Palace Plaza Hotel. First I would say that the location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town / shopping area. It is also within easy walking distance of the sea and marina area.
Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard.
The standard of the buffet breakfast was fine for the money we paid.
However we had two issues we were not happy with and would not recommend the hotel to friends.
Firstly, there is a glass door into the ensuite which swings open but there is no seal on the door, in fact there is a gap around the door so the bathroom is not sound proof. I did ask if we could change to a room with a bathroom door that closes and was advised that all the rooms have these open type of doors.
Also we found the quality of the beds poor. The matresses are placed on a wooden platform and slide if you sit up and lean against the headrest. A strange arrangement!
The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Top Tip:
We travelled on 11th February and the Carnival was just starting beside the hotel. It was good fun.
It is well worth walking past the marina to the sea as there is a lovely beach hidden to the north of the marina.
